Amber Heard gets a Machete Kills character poster

Machete Kills has released a brand new character poster online, featuring Amber Heard as beauty queen, Ms. San Antonio.

Having been seen in earlier promotional material sharing a clinch with Danny Trejo, Heard gets a chance to show off her character’s badass side here, clutching an impressively pointy three-bladed machete.

The new film will see Trejo’s titular anti-hero return to action at the behest of the President himself, when Mel Gibson’s crackpot arms dealer threatens to plunge humanity into a third world war.

Needless to say, it all looks enjoyably silly, with plenty of blood set to be extravagantly spilled along the way…

Directed by Robert Rodriguez and co-starring the likes of Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara and Antonio Banderas, Machete Kills will open in the UK on 11 October 2013.
