Shooting for the AC movie is well underway and we've already been teased with some Assassin's Creed movie set images. Now Assassin's Creed's head of content, Azaïzia Aymar, is dangling more juicy images from inside Abstergo no less.
He revealed two Templar swords on Twitter. One with the traditional cross of the Knight's Templar and one with a bearded figure who we can fairly assume to be Hugue de Payens, the very first Grand Master of the Templar order. Just nod, it's ok.
Time for a close up! Who is the man on the pommel? #assassinscreedmovie #truetemplarwouldknow ;) pic.twitter.com/vz3Fz1WOZ4November 4, 2015
With Michael Fassbender in the leading role as both 15th century Spanish member of the Brotherhood, Aguilar and modern day Assassin Callum Lynch, the Assassin's Creed movie is shaping up just nicely. Plus, the fact that it's breaking away from a film version of one of the games is an especially refreshing choice that means we'll be treated to a new story instead of rehashed version of something we've already seen done better. Add in Marion Cotillard and Macbeth director Justin Kurzel and this might just be a -*whispers* - good video game movie.
