Angelina Jolie says she will cut back her workload to focus on her family life - and so will her partner Brad Pitt.

“As Brad and I get older, we’re going to do fewer films. I’ve been working for a long time. He’s been working for a long time,” she told The Hollywood Reporter .

“I don’t love it as much. I love being a mom,” she added. “We’ve had a nice run and don’t want to be doing this our whole lives. There are a lot of other things to do.”

Jolie said that acting had been a way to answer the big questions in life. “I’m older and I know who I am... and I'm less interested in the character helping me answer something... than in being able to answer it for myself, as a woman, as an adult, with my family.”

However, the ex-Lara Croft won’t be quitting the business too soon, having recently wrapped her directorial debut In The Land Of Blood And Honey , as well as preparing for the remake of Elizabeth Taylor’s Cleopatra .
