If you were trapped at a deserted island LAN party and could only bring one game, what would it be? Well, after this fall, we'd have to say the Unreal Anthology, announced today from Midway. Paving the way for the over-the-top gib-fest Unreal Tournament 2007, Midway plans to share UT 's shooter heritage and history by reissuing the complete backlog of Unreal titles for under 30 bucks.
Unreal Anthology will include the original Unreal and its expansion pack, Return to Na Pali, in addition to Unreal II, Unreal Tournament (Game of the Year Edition) and finally, the Editor's Choice Edition of the iconic Unreal Tournament 2004. The idea behind the Editor's Choice Edition was to pack the nightmarishly cumbersome,six-CD version of thegame onto a single DVD, which is an idea we pray carries over to this collection.
Armed with all of that first-person ordnance, you should be completely locked and loaded for a lifetime of LAN parties and online frag-fests.
