@adiprasetyoadi (Twitter): How did it feel acting as the US President in Olympus Has Fallen?

@adiprasetyoadi (Twitter): How did it feel acting as the US President in Olympus Has Fallen?

AE: Well, it was a lot of fun. I have a great respect for the office of the President of the United States and, as an actor, when you’re doing a role it forces you to think of how your character would think, so I had to weigh the issues and all that sort of stuff.

Not political issues, but what would I do in a time of crisis.

I didn’t concentrate so much on a particular President as I did on the characteristics, the ideal characteristics, of a President, what I thought they were. So honesty, trustworthiness, good father, good husband, working for the people and all that sort of stuff.

@Lucy_Lou5 (Twitter): Whats Gerard Butler like to act alongside? Is he competitive in the manly stakes?

@Lucy_Lou5 (Twitter): Whats Gerard Butler like to act alongside? Is he competitive in the manly stakes?

AE: Let’s see [laughs]. Ooh, interesting question! Very perceptive.

Obviously Gerry is a manly man and very athletic and that sort of thing. I don’t think we were competitive, I thought we fed off each other’s energy and appreciated each other, we trusted each other.

But he likes to go all the way and so do I.
