The Witcher 3's Ciri 'alternative look' DLC is coming out for real this week

An alternative outfit for Ciri is hitting The Witcher 3 soon, and this time, it won't break your game. Developer CD Projekt Red has announced that the next piece of free DLC for the game will roll out for good later this week.

CD Projekt Red's been distributing free DLC for The Witcher 3 on a roughly weekly basis since it came out in May, with plans for 16 content drops in all. The studio said it would skip last week to focus on the big 1.07 update, but it seems somebody didn't get the memo and published the unfinished DLC anyway.

Some users who downloaded the content reported being unable to load their saves, while others encountered stranger issues like a Ciri doppelganger, but you shouldn't have to worry about any of that with the new version. You'll just have to worry about why Ciri's started wearing heavy eye makeup and a surly expression all the time... at least that chainmail vest should keep her safe while she's hanging out with the wrong crowd, right?
