Want to see your name in BioShock Infinite? Try your luck, and it might happen

Earlier today, developer Irrational Games announced a new BioShock Infinite promotion titled "Name the Game." The contest, which can be entered at IrrationalGames.com from now until April 12, will make one winner the namesake of a "character, a business, or a building – whatever the Irrational development team comes up with."

This is the first time Irrational has made this opportunity available to the community, but the press release points out that it has paid tribute to staffers in the past, with locations like BioShock's Sinclair Spirits and Robertson's Tabaccoria.

The contest does not require a registration or other commitment, so you may as well, right? If I have my way, Wilde's 'Wich Hut will serve the best egg salad sandwiches in all of Columbia (the secret is the Slap Chop!).

I want to get in the game to. If I turn up as a ginger, that's a win. If I turn up as the face of the protagonist, then fuck yeah.

If my name were Hardy Dickens I'm sure I'd be a shoe-in. Alas, this is not true. I'll enter anyways though.

I'm in I guess. Truly, there is way less than a 1% chance that you would win this thing. It would be cool if my name made it in because my first and last name makes a sentence.
  • Nintygameplayerperson - April 9, 2011 3:37 a.m.

Man, there's like a 1% chance of winning these kinds of things...
  • invisible0weirdo - April 9, 2011 3:30 a.m.

Doubt my name will make it in (it less than common and not exactly fitting with the era) but what the hell, it'd be awesome if I'm wrong.
  • Letter11 - April 9, 2011 1:39 a.m.

Thanks for the heads up that would be awesome. Man, I could finally fulfill my dreams of being part of game, without any of the, you know, work.
