Ubisoft teases Beyond Good & Evil 2 reveal

Ubisoft is teasing a reveal for the long awaited adventure sequel, Beyond Good & Evil 2. This image (left) recently appeared on the official Ubisoft Facebook page, showing off a new image of Pey'J--one of the main characters from the original game.

The text on the site reads "We’re a bit busy prepping for E3. Time to call in some reinforcements."

The game has been in planning / development for years. The first time it surfaced was in this early concept footage from 2008, which points to a game running on hardware more powerful than current Xbox or PlayStation hardware. In other words, it looks like a PS4 or Xbox One game to us...

Unless the first footage leaks early, expect to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 for the first time at Ubisoft's E3 2013 press conference, which starts at 3pm Pacific time, 11pm UK time.

I'm afraid it's artwork from Beyond Good & Evil HD http://www.gamereactor.eu/media/30/beyondgoodevil_233048.jpg So I doubt this means anything. Still very hopeful for some kind of reveal at E3.

If this turns out to be true, then I'm gonna be slightly annoyed because otherwise, this could have made for a very pleasant "in-conference" surprise that just got ruined :P

Could this finally be the show where every oft delay/outright canned game gets release? To much hype head to explode.
