The most bizarre Mortal Kombat trailer yet

Shares

Wanna learn about Mortal Kombat from the latest trailer? Too bad! However, I did learn that sign spinning isn’t just something only the homeless people in my neighborhood hone while being paid to stand on street corners like living, pitiable billboards for furniture store close outs. The dudes in the video take the advertising acrobatics to new heights, and since this is an OFFICIAL video sent out by Warner Brothers, it’s safe to assume they’re gainfully employed! Of course, it needed one improvement, which I was happy to help out with: A little music from The Immortals!

Above: Who says only Guile’s Theme can make everything better?!

You can see the actual, official video below, sans our drastic enhancements, if you really want to... but I assure you ours is 1000% better!

Those guys have some serious billboard... flipping skills, but this is really an official trailer? I only watched the enhanced version, but I think it's safe to say it was indeed 1000% better than the original.

Anyone know how a guy can get his hands on a physical or digital copy of the original "Techno Syndrome" track these days? No luck searching iTunes and both hard copy CDs are $40 on Amazon. The nostalgia is totally worth that much to me, but $40 is a bit dear. Any cheaper solutions? Any legit free downloads out there if the music's no longer for sale? Thx!!

That music should be a part of all Mortal Kombat related promo material, and on continuous loop throughout the final game, no one can ever get sick of that track.

I got bored of the official video less than 45 seconds in, yet the "improved" video actually made me want to watch more of the sign spinning! Although I am now curious on how the video would have turned out if the "Hypnotic House" track from the same album was used instead... Ah who cares, this article has totally encouraged me to put the entire album back on my iPod. :p

Indeed Chris, your version is tons better. It didn't make me wanna sleep but spin some fucking signs right now!
