Street Fighter II vs. Doraemon: How roundhouse kicks make everything better

Doraemon is a time-travelling robot cat and star of the popular manga and children’s anime series of the same name. Street Fighter II is a popular two-player fighting game. What do these two things have in common? Until recently, nothing. But a recent remix of Doraemon’s sugary theme song, mixes in sound effects from Street Fighter II, making for the most bizarre and catchy tunes you’ll hear all day.

Above: “Street Fighemon.” Who would have guessed that roundhouse kicks and fierce punches could add so much to a song?
