Well at least if you get really mad at how badly the game controls you can literally snap the controller in half.
  • ironrafael - December 1, 2012 2:02 p.m.

And not have to buy another after you do so.
  • Moondoggie1157 - November 30, 2012 2:44 p.m.

Gaming is getting more and more ridiculous... Wow.
  • Net_Bastard - November 30, 2012 3:25 p.m.

    It's more "experimental" than "ridiculous".
  • Moondoggie1157 - November 30, 2012 3:42 p.m.

That's what they said about Pepsi Blue... I kid, maybe you're right... haha
  • bobob101 - November 30, 2012 3 p.m.

It looks nice, but what happens to the shoulder buttons?
  • BladedFalcon - November 30, 2012 3:56 p.m.

    *Facepalms* Why?
  • ParagonT - November 30, 2012 4:03 p.m.

Either this is going to be a cheap piece of crap, or it could be "innovative". Amiright Nintendo? *looks around*

Sony Boss: "So, what should our new controller look like. I like both of our current controllers, so this is going to be tough." Sony Employee: "Why not put the two controllers together?" Suddenly, everyone at Sony starts partying with the employee the same way the people in the Taco commercials throw a party for the little kid. The above scenario is exactly what I thought of when I saw that picture.

Exactly that. I want the advertisement for this (if it ever happens [it won't] to be a mimic of that).
  • winner2 - November 30, 2012 4:33 p.m.

As long as it's better than six axis...did anyone else play Lair?
  • zombi3grim - December 1, 2012 10:19 a.m.

No. No one else played Lair.
  • winner2 - December 1, 2012 11:04 a.m.

That's a shame, because aside from the six axis I liked the concept of dragon fights, and the dragons looked pretty cool. It could have been a pretty good game if they had stuck with a more traditional control setup.

So controllers have boobs now. Great.
  • shawksta - November 30, 2012 5:21 p.m.

Sony patents allot of stuff they never use, this one being from 2011 that just got approved. Bizarre yet interesting but mostly bizarre, I see what sony's trying to do but it just doesnt look right.
  • Bosco - November 30, 2012 8:32 p.m.

somehow this is worse than the boomerang controller

I'd love to have a combined gamepad/move, it saves on the trouble on having to buy a nunchuck and is natural if it's got that snap together feature, could provide some neat local multiplayer too. Cost savings aside (provided the controller is not more expensive than move + sixaxis separately) I do wish they'd manage to hide the move bulb, maybe a smaller IR bulb or something for tracking, why not glowing shoulder buttons?
