Sony E3 2011 press conference live stream

Sony has had a tumultuous 2011 so far. Highs included LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3 and all the positive buzz about its follow-up to PSP, and the lows included its hardware being hacked to the point of a total online shutdown that ended very recently. Sunnier skies seem ahead, including more concrete details on the NGP (perhaps an official name that may or may not be Vita?), plus probable appearances by Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3, watch along to see all the news Sony has in store in our live stream of Sony’s E3 press conference.

Hate to say it, but the Sony show was a lot better than the Microsoft one. Still, they should have named their handheld something else that's not inspired by Pita bread.

Cole in SF x Tekken? That was a shock... See what I did there?
  • shawksta - June 7, 2011 2:20 a.m.

This conference was awesome, it Beat Microsoft by a mile! Awesome Job Sony! Now its Nintendo's Turn to show what they got, with the new console, Super Mario 3DS, and God Knows what else!

Surprise! The Vita costs $50 less than I thought it would.
  • aman123 - June 7, 2011 2:11 a.m.

I was also hoping for a surprise at the end. Depressing -_-
  • lilspooky - June 7, 2011 2:10 a.m.

    I wasn't really wowed, but I wasn't disappointed.
  • MyCoolWhiteLies - June 7, 2011 2:10 a.m.

Man, that conference was WAAAAAY too drawn out. There was some decent stuff in there, but it should have been about half as long. I was just really bored throughout most of it. The PSVita price is great though. I'm really curious to know how much money they're eating with each one of those.
  • CoryM1134 - June 7, 2011 2:08 a.m.

I was really hoping for a good "holy shit!" moment right at the end. Oh well. Anyway, there are some great games coming and I now know I can definitely afford a Vita. Not the greatest conference they've done, but far from the worst.
  • PimplesInYourAsstista - June 7, 2011 2:06 a.m.

Surprisingly decent show, at least considering the farce Microsoft's was.
  • DJQQ - June 7, 2011 2:05 a.m.

Scott Rhodes is the robot. Notice his arm gestures about all the time he was talking lol?
  • BrunDeign - June 7, 2011 2 a.m.

Does anyone realize how dirty the screen on the NGP is going to be? This is why the DS/3DS has a stylus. Also why is it that these two conferences have been so underwhelming? Microsoft shoots themselves in the foot by spoiling ALL OF THEIR NEW RELEASES an hour before the conference and Sony announces only a few actually new, never-before-seen games. How many games did they announce that we honestly didn't see coming? Three?
  • Rubberducky - June 7, 2011 2 a.m.

So glad Sonys press conference has some entertaining stuff. The vita(hate the name) looks to be a nice machine
  • Spybreak8 - June 7, 2011 1:47 a.m.

Ah why isn't this on my TV?! Why no love for Sony and Microsoft. I can see why for Ubisoft lol, why the hell would you telvise that but seriously Sony def since they're such a power house. My internet isn't calibrated for live streams, stutter video is horrible.
  • Fhiend - June 7, 2011 1:43 a.m.

    Just call it PSP2 sony....fools.
  • sgloomy - June 7, 2011 1:37 a.m.

Why does everyone sound like they are out of breathe? I know some of them are not in the best shape but have they been running?
  • wightknight - June 7, 2011 1:28 a.m.

    The Vita sounds disgusting.
  • RamenChimera - June 7, 2011 1:25 a.m.

Vita it is, then. CAn't say I like the name very much.
  • lilspooky - June 7, 2011 1:16 a.m.

If you cant figure out how to use a game controller, then you shouldn't play games. You should also think about suicide.
  • MyCoolWhiteLies - June 7, 2011 1:14 a.m.

Holy shit, Ken Levine is a nerdy version of The Joker.
  • R_U_Guys_From_British - June 7, 2011 1:07 a.m.

I hate to say it but Playstation only has Uncharted 3 going for it.
