Skullgirls wishes you a violent Valentine’s Day with Nurse Valentine trailer

Meet another character from the upcoming XBLA/PSN fighting game

You might think the fighting game genre belongs to big companies like Capcom and Namco, but creator Reverge Labs is out to prove that indie-sized devs can make a dent in the market too. The smaller team has been working hard on a classic 2D style fighting game that’s out to appeal to hardcore and new fans alike. The game in question is the soon-to-be-released Skullgirls, and this special holiday trailer introduces us to femme fatale Valentine. Take a look:

Skullgirls comes to XBLA and PSN in late March, though no price has been revealed yet. You can read our recent hands-on to see how much the title impressed us last year.

    Wow gorgeous animation. Almost makes me wish I gave a shit about fighting games.
