Grasshopper's Sine Mora skipping PSN, now an XBLA exclusive

The Xbox 360 is now the only home for Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality's shooter, Sine Mora. In its official announcement, Digital Reality confirmed the time-warping shoot 'em up will skip Sony systems, and be published by Microsoft Studios exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade...

Sine Mora was orginally marked for release on both XBLA and PSN platforms. That was until today, when Digital Reality issued its Xbox 360-exclusive statement, and a message was posted on the game's Facebook wall, proclaiming, “Breaking News! Microsoft Studios is proud to announce that Sine Mora is coming exclusively to XBLA! :)”

Described as a “diesel-punk” side-scrolling shoot 'em up, Sine Mora mixes traditional shooter elements with modern visuals and mechanics, and is being made to appeal to both the hardcore and casual crowds. It also has the benefit of being influenced by Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda—aka Suda-51--who has been the driving force behind other creative cult titles such as Killer7, No More Heroes, and Shadows of the Damned.

This is the first of two titles to come from Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Manufacture current collaboration. The second, an odd-ball Kinect title called Diabolical Pitch, is also expected to arrive soon after Sine Mora sometime this winter.

Looks nice but difficult, although I know fans of the genre want that.

I would probably just rub one off. Then maybe play this game after. Just depends on how much time I've got.

I have a standing order: every time Suda 51, I hand him all my money. Now I really do have to get my Xbox fixed.

I wouldn't play this game if I knew exactly how much time I had left. The trailer tells me nothing, what kind of shooter is this? I have both consoles but I wouldn't go out of my way to get this even at a discount, it looks previous-gen and bland.

dude its a teaser trailer you could always look up more about it if you want to know more

I can't say anything about whether or not you feel it's bland, because that's really up to personal opinion, but 1) it's an XBLA game, not a full release, and what previous-gen console did you have that looked that good?

    ;__; But I hate my 360.

Nice looking game, though I'm not a particularly big fan of the genre.
