Shinobido 2 trailer is full of explanations for PS Vita launch game

See all the ways a ninja can stab people to death in this video

Though we aren’t sure just how good all the games will be, the PS Vita’s launch certainly has a bunch of them. Just look at this list of titles coming out in conjunction with the system and you’d have to agree that it looks stronger than the 3DS’s from last year, with tons of well-known franchises. However, if you happen to be confused by the title “Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen” on the list, this new trailer for Namco Bandai’s day one release might clear things up.

If the poisoned sushi and shurikens of that trailer reminds some of you of Tenchu, that’s no accident, as members of the original Tenchu team on the PSOne have been working on Shinobido since the first game quietly premiered in the US on PS2. With the limited competition on Vita at launch, perhaps this will give the stealthy contract killer a chance to find a bigger audience than it had previously. Shinobido 2 comes out along with the rest of the Vita paraphernalia on February 22.

This looks like a more fleshed-out Tenchu Z. That makes sense, if it's made by the old Tenchu guys.

When I first heard of this game I thought "Meh, who cares?" but that trailer actually made me interested in this game mostly because of the open level ninja action
