Saved by the Bell SNES game is super fly, semi-fresh

The Fine Brothers take us back to Bayside

Long before Zack Morris became a lawyer, Screech became a dirtbag, and A.C. Slater traded in celebrity gossip, they ruled the halls of TV's Bayside High School with hotties Kelly Kapowski, Lisa Turtle and Jessie “Caffeine Freak” Spano in the most important 90s Saturday morning show ever, Saved by the Bell. Strangely, their adventures were never translated to the video game medium at the time, but thanks to The Fine Brothers we can now (kind of) play the raddest SNES game that never was.

Time Out! We know this is just Earthbound with new skins and fancy chiptune music, but that shouldn't deter children of the 90s from enjoying it. The Saved by the Bell Interactive Game was created by Benny Fine, Rafi Fine and Doctor Octoroc, and is one of many tongue-in-cheek productions from The Fine Brothers team. You can keep up with this and other viewer driven projects at their website.

DLC coming soon, a level that takes place entirely on Justin Beiber's shirt.

In my life, if someone is able to work a reference of Jessie popping "caffeine" pills into everyday conversation, they automatically earn a little of my respect.

This. Is. Awesome. This filled the same hole in my heart that the Scott Pilgrim game did.

Although I remember it fondly my memories of the show have faded and perhaps it is best kept that way.
