  • Tidgepot - June 3, 2014 3:35 p.m.

I realize now some of what I had leaked has already been told to the press by Ubisoft. Shoulda said something sooner XD. Still, it will most definitely be unveiled next week and I'm incredibly excited.
  • Tidgepot - June 3, 2014 3:24 p.m.

Hi, first post here! Long time listener. Soo....I've been sitting on this leak for a while (and a several others) and I'm getting antsy. As you may know, Rainbow 6: Patriots was announced a few years ago but then disappeared into nothingness. Late last year it was taken back to the drawing board to be overhauled and will be unveiled at E3 this year as a completely new game. Last I heard, it’ll have a new name and will be based entirely around hostage situations. There will be a slew of different nationalities to play as with a number of toys to use to protect the generally 4 story (I think) building you are holding as a terrorist, and on the other end you'll get to play as a swat team that has to rescue the other team's victims. It’s pretty much Ubisoft’s attempt to throw its hat into the Battlefield/Call of Duty ring. I’ll leave it at that. Now for my totally untrue E3 prediction for the question of the week: Nintendo has realized that in order to keep up with the sales of the PS4, it has decided to partner with a Western developer to help move its games into the current decade. That developer? Zenimax Studios. Weird, huh? In a way, I see them as the antithesis of Nintendo-- a company that is generous with its content, specializes in open world games like Bethesda's Elder Scrolls and Fallout, but is jumping into online games headfirst with Elder Scrolls Online and Battlecry. This will, of course, lead to a Pokemon MMO. And it won't stop there. Why can't the Mushroom Kingdom be an open world to traverse, much like the Kingdom of Hyrule or better yet, Skyrim? I'm tingling in my giblets thinking about it. Ow. Now my heart hurts because it'll never happen.

QOTW: Seeing how well the Wii U is doing in the market, long time rival, SEGA, decides to launch a new console. The new SEGA console will launch with nfc based in the sonic universe and have backwards compatibility with SEGA's previous generation, the Dreamcast.
  • aCODisFISH - June 3, 2014 6:54 a.m.

QOTW: Last Guardian 2 is announced, release date TBD.
  • IAmARobotWhoTurnsIntoATruckAnd - June 2, 2014 9:50 p.m.

I think I might be hopeless in wanting this, but I have this feeling that Capcom will announce a new Devil May Cry. If it ran 60 fps and had styles, style switching, and old Dante and Nero/Vergil as playable, it would be enough to make me buy a new-gen console.
  • fungis - June 2, 2014 8:48 a.m.

Sony will cut PS 4 price buy $50.00 just so they can tell Xbox One to suck it.
  • Shelbyvillian - June 1, 2014 3:17 p.m.

QOTW: Now that Rare is no longer stuck making kinect games Microsoft will allow them to focus on one of their older most beloved franchises, Viva Pinata! Rare will announce an NFC Viva pinata game where you have to collect all of the toys to complete your garden.
  • Del673 - June 1, 2014 11:52 a.m.

Minecraft will be announced for 3DS, and Pokemon Emerald will be announced for Wii U explaining why it is going out along with Ruby and Sapphire.
  • shawksta - June 1, 2014 8:21 p.m.

It still baffles me how Minecraft isnt on the 2 consoles that would majorly benefit their hardware.
  • Shift234 - June 1, 2014 10:23 a.m.

I can't wait for Ubisoft to announce not only Beyond Good and Evil 2, but they are going to announce 3 purely because they know we will have PS87's by that point. Never too early to start the hype train! Also Tony Hawk Ride 2 with Google Glass support.
  • punishment - June 1, 2014 9:09 a.m.

QOTW: Phil Fish saunters out onstage with the overly confident hipster swagger that infuriates people, wearing some weird thick rimmed glasses and a stupid scarf, looking extra punchable today. He grabs the microphone, brings it to his lips, begins to open his mouth, but stops. He surveys the crowd, acting the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson during a surprise WrestleMania appearance. He brings back the mic and says "Fez 2 is FINALLY..." and is cut off by one guy in the silent crowd casually saying "Oh, fuck off.". Phil Fish then drops the mic onstage, fighting back tears, storms off and quits the business again.
  • alecbeals - June 1, 2014 9:36 a.m.

does he then proceed to sulk behind the stage curtains angrily getting into fights with people he sees using E3 hashtags?
  • punishment - June 1, 2014 7:41 p.m.

It just wouldn't be realistic if he didn't.
  • shawksta - June 1, 2014 8:21 p.m.

    "again" That got me XD
  • MrHo11ywood360 - June 1, 2014 8:48 a.m.

QOTW: The Last Guardian will be released in 2015 for PS4, PS3, PS2, and PSP. No news on Vita port.
