I'm a little late, but I'd like to see Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Reynolds. Hear me out. Having been both Deadpool and Green Lantern, the game would be about what it's like to exist in two universes. And about how the strong differences in the personalities of GL and Deadpool take their toll on poor Ryan. Plus, think of Cage's excitement at E3 when he shows you how many pixels are in the face animation of Deadpool's sewn up mouth reopening. Oh, the pixels.

  • shawksta - October 15, 2013 2:45 p.m.

This podcast was really fun. Damn Henry, your being a little harsh against Killer Instinct. Have your opinion but damn, you mustve hated the fighting style from the past or something. It still is technically the first next gen fighter. QOTW: A Crime fighting action game starring the voices of Samuel L Jackson and his partner being voiced by Jim Carrey. They investigate crimes and fight criminals with Jackson's various bitching and Carrey's comic relief. Something super natural will eventually happen giving super powers( I think you might catch where im going with this) to the various criminals and our heroes. Long story short, Jim's character will have the ability to force a conga line like the Mask.

I want to see Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in the action-comedy equivalent of an open-world game with Mark Ruffalo as the main villain.
  • GamesRadarCollanderCooper - October 14, 2013 5:24 p.m.

QOTW: I'd like to see David Cage make a video game adaptation of Waiting For Godot starring Andy Milonakis and Danny Trejo
  • kidgorilla - October 16, 2013 11:58 a.m.

Oh my God. Yes, this. This right here
  • JabroniSawce - October 14, 2013 2:58 p.m.

QOTW- Id like to see Quantic Dream virtually revive John Belushi, and bring Dan Aykroyd along, both sporting some awesome Arnette sunglasses, for Beyond Blues Brothers-The Nomad Souls.... runner up- Cheech and Chong-"Gettin Blowed" Prophecy
  • GLuna46 - October 14, 2013 2:34 p.m.

i like how the story of the dog falling down the stairs and eventually getting put down is sadder then poor baby Tommy falling down the stairs. i think its due to the fact that i listen to this podcast when i walk my dog. lol man i love it when they just talk about other stuff too thats not videogames. also Henry's dream was WEEIIRD lol xD

QOTW: I would propose a David Cage game starring Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo playing two plumbers who have both fell in love with a washed up Jamaican princess (played by Kathy Bates of course). They decide that the only way to really know who is deserving of such grand love from this princess (we shall call her Princess Lemon) is to compete in a real life Jumanji like board game comprised of mini-games that are filled with magic mushrooms, talking turtles, and a hobbit named Dowser who beholds the power of the one ring while wearing a special edition pair of Arnette Sunglasses. The last challenge is to see who can tame a wild velociraptor in which the trick comes down to finding the hidden power glove tucked away under the mysterious pile of old Nintendo Power magazines. Appropriately enough, no matter how you have played the game, Bob Hoskins becomes the winner and he travels out of the board game only to witness a battle happening between his arch enemies Fat Sonic (played by John Goodman) and the terribly snarky Skinny Sonic (played by Justin Bieber). In the end, Bob Hoskins can only stare in shock as John Goodman rips Bieber's head off and takes Kathy Bates by the hand as he runs off with her at an incredible speed, only looking back to lower his amazing pair of Arnette's while giving the thumbs up gesture. After 30 seconds of credits we cut to a stinger which shows Leguizamo walking towards a beautiful sunset while holding a talking lady turtle while an 8-Bit heart appears above both their heads. Cue the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 80's cartoon theme song and the credits begin to scroll again.

First off, I love the you're idea for more video podcasts, please make it happen Greg. As of the QOTW, I would have to go with Nicolas Cage, and Bruce Willis in a Bromantic Comedy. This game would probably get so much attention, and everybody would be going at it for a film adaptation, and eventually a sitcom.

Question of the Week: The Scene: a dreary trench on the western front during the final year of World War 1, thunderclaps roll off in the distance, the heavy fog and the drizzle of rain muzzling their natural ferocity. The camera pans away from no mans land to look inside a half caved in trench, and underneath a turned over wagon that had long since been liberated from its original owner, sat David 'Motion Capture' Cage. Rifle clutched with hands, he gently rocks back and forth on the balls of his feet, muttering to himself about the emotion he is currently experiencing. A double file line of equally weary, but not nearly as emotional soldiers march past. Fear and fatigue is evident on their young faces, David stops his rocking for a moment, looking into the passing group as if searching for some answer to a yet unasked question, before quickly resuming his rocking while saying 'I'm no killer' in a surprisingly Scottish accent. This is the opening scene for my proposed new game from David Cage, starring David Cage, about a shell shocked veteran that is called upon by his native country to do one final mission behind German lines. Only this time they have a secret weapon, a spikey blue hedgehog named Sonic. TOGETHER, THESE TWO HEROES, WITH THE AID OF THE IMPENETRABLE MIGHT THAT IS A PAIR OF ARNETTE SUNGLASSES, WILL GO AS FAST AS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE TRENCHES OF EUROPE AND EVEN INTO MEET THE FACE OF EMOTION GOD. THIS SUMMER DAVID CAGE, SONIC, WITH A GUEST APPEARANCE BY TYCHUS FINDLAY AS OTTO VON BISMARK.WILL HAVE TO PUT THEIR EMOTIONS ASIDE, SO THAT THEY CAN ACQUIRE NEW, BETTER MOTION CAPTURED EMOTIONS AND SPEED THROUGH DREARY DEPRESSING TRENCH ZONE 1 THROUGH 83 IN THE GREATEST GAME OF OUR GENERATION : CAGE RISING *co-developed by Arnette sunglasses, published by Sierra*

Since David Cage thinks he is the video game version of David Fincher, I chose 2 celebrities who think their better at their jobs than they actually are. 1. Claire Danes, since she's good at playing insane people. 2. Miley Cyrus, since she is insane.
  • alecbeals - October 16, 2013 9:14 a.m.

what if youhad Claire Danes playing Miley Cyrus?
  • Unoriginal - October 13, 2013 10:43 a.m.

The next David Cage game will be called Metagame and star Pascal Langdale who, tired after being ridiculed by everyone for his performance in Heavy Rain (I em a fether tooo!), looks for training in voice acting from a reanimated Burgess Meredith. Many a montages follow. Fearing his potential the Brotherhood of Overused Voice Actors (BOVA) band together to foil him in his quest. The player must face Troy Baker, Jennifer Hale, Steve Blum and eventually Nolan North in a series of voice-offs to claim the title of most respected video game voice actor. The ultimate price of course being the role of the main character in the next David Cage game.
  • sketchlayerJosh - October 13, 2013 9:56 a.m.

For the next David Cage game, I'd like to see Gary Busey as the star. In Heavy Rain, you'd sometimes have odd moments where the faces would contort in horrifying, inhuman ways. If it was Gary Busey, that's pretty much just how he looks, so you wouldn't even notice. Also, he should play both the hero and the love interest.

Crispin Glover and Danny Glover as glove merchants travelling Central Africa at the end of the 19th century. It is then revealed that they are actually glove themed assassins from the future! Cue aliens and existential doubt as they struggle with the concepts of time, metaphysics and the inhumanity of man set against the backdrop of the impending invasion that they caused. Can they save the day by interacting with the right glowing dots? Title: 'Time Glovers'. 5/5, Cage's masterpiece.
  • GenderBender_9000 - October 12, 2013 11:17 a.m.

David who? Maybe if I listened to the podcast first, I would know who this was :p
  • callyfornication - October 12, 2013 6:19 a.m.

Asian food, huh? As a Welshman, I'm slightly offended. The leek is our national flower (really.) To answer the QotW - Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter, because Tim Burton literally could not resist getting in on that. Imagine Cage and Burton making a game together. All that mindfuckery going on, with Depp and HBC hamming it up all the while. Tell me you wouldn't buy that. Lie to me.
  • v8ninety - October 16, 2013 5:03 a.m.

Yes was totally amazed that the leek was basically described as an Asian vegetable and I'm not even welsh.
  • callyfornication - October 16, 2013 6:36 a.m.

Exactly! Not only is it a food here, it's a national symbol. It's the leek, the daffodil, the dragon, and the three feathers. Wales in a nutshell. I can forgive them not knowing much about Wales though, it's just a tiny UK country at the end of the day!
