PokemonRadar, week 17

Four favorites' new Sinnoh evolutions!

Welcome to the seventeenth installment of GamesRadar's weekly feature, PokémonRadar.

No Pokemon news to report, so we'll get right to the Pokemon. This week we're looking at four evolutions to popular Pokemon, some of which have been around from the original game.

Next week we'll reveal the final evolutions of four Sinnoh natives.

Now, to the Pokémon!

Pokémon Name: PorygonZ
Type: Normal
Classification: Virtual
Pokédex Number: 474 National
Ability: Download - Boosts Porygon's stats, depending on the foe's highest stat; Adaptive - Raises the power of moves the same type as PorygonZ currently is
Location Found: Evolved from Porygon2, by trading with the Eerie Patch
Useful Attacks: Zap Cannon

The original Porygon, introduced in the first generation of Pokemon games, is mildly infamous. Pokemon garnered international headlines when the cartoon episode "Electric Soldier Porygon" gave entranced children across Japan seizures, thanks to a flashing blue and red background. When traded with an Upgrade, Porygon evolved into Porygon2, and now a new Eerie Patch evolves it yet again. Like previous incarnations, PorygonZ's binary DNA allows it to react to its situation and change types on the fly, making it a flexible and powerful Pokemon in the right hands.
