ITS THE SCOOP OF THE CENTURY MEWTWO AINT THE ONLY ONE WITH A NEW FORM Its apparently called "Mega Evolutions" now, but they are still technically forms and not actual evolutions or atleast for now.
  • shawksta - August 8, 2013 9:31 a.m.

Yeah it is seems for now that they are Mega Forms, what purpose they serve is not known but while Mewtwo is there its implying its similar to his awakened form. The big question is, are these forms limited? will they be for all Pokemon? Will they be counted in the pokedex!?
  • shawksta - August 8, 2013 9:43 a.m.

Further info implies these forms will only activate during actual battle That's all I got, who knows what'll happen

  • shawksta - August 8, 2013 10:33 p.m.

Yes, it has 2 heads and Mawile and Mega Mawile are now Fairy/Steel Here's a better look
  • Frieza - August 8, 2013 2:55 p.m.

Calm down, dude! 3 posts in one hour is a little overboard. This is why I wish there was some sort or forum on this site...
  • shawksta - August 8, 2013 10:35 p.m.

I know, thats why i stopped I mean come on, MEGA evolutions was a big suprise, especially from someone like Blaziken whose already a starter Oh and GLORIOUS HAIR AMPHAROS:
  • GOD - August 8, 2013 12:54 a.m.

Omg... Sudowoodo... Psuedo-wood-o.... I just now got that. And I say the tree will be..... Phantoak.... or Ghouloak..... Psypress?....... Chompine!!! Yeah that's it. Ok, so the little one with the two sets of mouths should be Chompine, and the big leafy one should be Phantoak. I worked far too hard on this. Wanna give me a job naming pokemon Gamefreak/Nintendo of America?

So...this is basically a new PokéRadar, right? Since that seems to have gone the way of the dodo twice now (I suppose you could say, it went the way of the Doduo, hurr.) Anyway, this was okay but it seemed extremely thin-on-the-ground. Yes, it's the first one and all you had to talk about was the most recent trailer, but next time you ought to think of something more substantial to discuss. Why don't you talk about what you think of the Fairy type next time, and how it may (un)balance the game (read: Dragon types)? It's a hot topic of debate among the fans now. Also, do please stop saying "Mewthree", even as a fan-name. Its Pokédex number is still #150 and its name is still Mewtwo, albeit in 'Awakened Forme'. This was confirmed ages ago now. Calling it Mewthree is sorta spreading misinformation. As for Oorotto's English name, I'm thinking it'll be Grass/Dark or Grass/Ghost so something like Horroot or Horrowood. Although considering that a Pokémon called "Shiftry" exists, they'll probably call it "Treepy" (tree + creepy) or something silly like that. The name "Oorotto" does suggests "root" and "grotto" to me so the English name may incorporate something similar, although of course it probably doesn't mean that in Japanese. How about "Grottesque"? Nope, me neither.

My guess for the name is Treevil. And I want Hollander to whisper "Gengar for life" into my ear as I go to sleep. Is that weird?
  • JarkayColt - August 7, 2013 3:12 a.m.

Treevil would be the perfect name for Oorotto if it hadn't already been snagged by an enemy in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They'd probably avoid using it because Treevil actually looks very similar to Oorotto. I doubt it'd get them into trouble, seeings as their both Nintendo properties, but it's more of a 'respect' thing I guess. They could probably use it openly as a purposeful reference though.

Dang! And I thought I was being so creative...
  • pokepark7 - August 6, 2013 8:28 p.m.

  • supergiraffe - August 6, 2013 7:17 p.m.

Glad to see this, I was missing Pokeradar. I'd like to maybe see some live action stuff, watching the same trailer footage gets boring.
  • Cyberninja - August 6, 2013 7:02 p.m.

its just going to be called tree
  • bobob101 - August 6, 2013 6:42 p.m.

Two things: 1. When will there be another Pokemon podcast episode? 2. There was a rumor were the creator of Pokemon Conquest said he would like to make a sequel to it. Please talk about this.
  • GR HollanderCooper - August 6, 2013 9:27 p.m.

    Maybe we'll do both!
  • J-Fid - August 6, 2013 6:07 p.m.

A tree that looks mean... Trean. Good work team!
  • shawksta - August 6, 2013 5:40 p.m.
