Great commentary. Mounting really is what I've been waiting for. Also maybe this means that when you use surf, rather than it looking like the same thing no matter what, it'll actually show the pokemon you chose to use surf with.

Very nice looking demo. Except, it looked as though you were having trouble getting round that hedge with the rollerblades. Control issues maybe? Because the character was just sliding about everywhere. Why was there an audible "Pika!" from Pikachu as well, yet all the other Pokémon seemed to have their original cries? I don't have a problem with the original cries at all, but having both types of cry there just seems weird. Also I couldn't hear it very well, but I swear that the "caught Pokémon" jingle is the same as it was back in Ruby and Sapphire (although you hear the other one when Sycamore gave over the Mewtwo.) Nothing major, but I feel as though that jingle disappeared for like no reason, since the newer one got really grating.

It looks so weird not seeing your character move in straight lines in pokemon

You missed out on a few other things in the demo, mainly you could battle all of the other trainers. Seriously, this game needs to be out now, I'm losing patience.

Nice to see that you can ride pokemon other than Gogoat and its first form. I hope an Arcanine can be made into a mount.
