I haven't listened to all of this Podcast yet, but caught the first 20 mins, and just wanted to comment on the GT5 review thing. Normally I think most big-games are massively overrated, and 9/10 times a reviewer will rush through a copy of a new game and allow novelty, hype and pressure to equal a review/score which is obviously flawed. A good example you guys mentioned is some reviews for GT5 saying it's a 9/10, when in reality the reviewer is clearly thinking of a lower score, yet likely hasn't got the balls to do it. I hate to highlight here, but Eurogamer's review of GT5 clearly reads like an 8, at best, to me. It's pretty amusing to see so much contradiction, but that's gaming journalism for you. Anyway, I think Justin's approach to GT5 is an example of what most reviewers should be doing; ignoring the release day - especially if it's a big game - and taking the right amount of time to absorb the experience and determine an accurate and fair review. Therefore his review and score of 7/10 is valid as far as I can tell. It's just a shame that this form of reviewing is pretty rare, and I don't expect it'll catch on soon. But I just wanted to vent my angle on this issue, since I understand how demoralising it may be to see so many people get angry over review scores. Plus, when all is said and done, it's bottom-of-the-page reviews on Metacritic I always scroll to first, since these are the ones which allow me to properly see if there is in merit in a game or not. Such is the way of gaming media at the moment. Loooooong way to go before it catches up-to the likes of Rotten Tomatoes, which - for the most part - gives excellent and reliable feedback on the quality of films.

*Insert weekly "love you guys!" comment* Love hearing you guys talk about GoW III too. Everyone else seesm to slag it off - some even mentioning the brutal kills as a negative somehow - madness! You're the only ones who seem to like it as much as me. Also Psi-Ops was/is bloody brilliant. Great pick. Really respect your reasons for getting the GT5 review done relatively late. If only more sites had the guts to ignore the first day rush clicks for more accurate reviews. Super Meat Boy is fantabulous too by the way. Ive 100%'d it too, it is dfinitely hardcore.

Brilliant from start to finish. I fully support Justin's 7/10 score for GT5 - its highs are above Forza 3 but the lows are well bellow the worst parts of Forza 3.

Haven't shown my support in a while, so keep it up. Matt Cundy is the funniest thing to ever come out of a test tube and the minigames are always spectacular displays of the many mysteries of the human body. Plus I love just being able to stream the podcast out of the browser, but I wonder if you can measure how many people are doing this (I want to show I'm listening lol).

If Cundy's now lord of the manor why hasn't he wrested control of the podcast from Nathan? Maybe it's remarks like slipping into peoples' butts. You Brits must have different HR rules than we have in the States. I caught an Epic Mickey commercial the other day, and actually stopped to check it out. I'd play it if it were on PS3.

Re: Epic Mickey, it does not surprise me that it is performing badly, I'd say mainly as I have not [like yourselves] seen a single non-game website advertisement and really if it were not for Mr Antista extolling its virtues I very much doubt I would have even paid attention to the few articles I'd seen in the specialist press. I would hope they release it on PS3 (or Xbox if that is your thing) to raise its profile as I would like to own it but am not a Wii owner and won't be till Skyward Sword comes out (by then too late to help E.M's charting).

I am ready ready, ready for Talkradar UK. I've only been listening for the past month or so, but I love this podcast just as much as GR's other two casts. Very smart British humor. I burst out laughing at Cundy's Ronald Mcdonald bit last week, I hope this week can be as funny.
