Hello there and welcome to a brand-spanking new episode of your favourite gaming podcast. Erm... not featuring Nathan Irvine (apart from that excellent picture from 510BrotherPanda there on the right - cheers mate) because he's off galavanting around on a separate continent.

So this week Matt, Justin, Dave H and Meiks are your hosts, talking rather swearily about stuff and blowing up balloons with their mouths (video below).

But what else can you expect from the fearsome foursome?

- Is this news? Basically, we weren't convinced the news section was, in fact, news, so we're changing it to 'Is This News?' which discusses the big stories of the week. Including a couple of impressions of Scotty from Star Trek.
- Appreciation section: Meiks delves into the recesses of his mind and emerges with a dinosaur game. Surprise!
- Question of the Week: In which we read out your answers to the question... What's your weirdest ever dream about video games?
- What we've been playing: In which Meiks swears he'll kill everyone in the room if he hears the word 'flicky' one more time. So we said it loads and he didn't do a thing.




- GamesRadar Hotline: No phonecalls, but several of your text messages to read out.
- And mucho, mucho more, erm, oh!

Dave spilled his cup of water before the podcast, all over his iPhone. And right where Justin's iPad would have been if he hadn't left it in the office for once.

    Great podcast. For the record, meiks did say 99 originally for the Kournikova smash tennis thing.

    Only got to listen to it now. Definitely one of the better, lads! Ye seemed to get a bit hectic at the end which was brilliant. And I was laughing my head off while my whole dream thing was being discussed but thought that it was weird when Dave M started describing my Facebook picture on air and using the phrase that's been thrown around my whole life, "Beatles hair cut". Ah, well. I didn't mind. I did when he pretended not to know me, though :(

    Great cast again chaps Had a very similar story to Meiks I think it was my tenth birthday my dad was bringing me into town to get my birthday present which a watch and my choice of Spectrum game from Boots (remember when they sold games, that's how old I am). I got the Running Man, which was rubbish but I was obsessed with Arnie at the time. Anyway, my dad came back to find a parking ticket on the car and by some strange quirk of Northern Ireland law (probably to do with the bother we used to have) he ended up in court and with a criminal record. All to buy me The Running Man for the Spectrum.

    Oh and I got all of that from IMDB and wikipedia, I didn't even know his name, so if anybody is about to be impressed by the above don't be.

    The guy who played the kid in The NeverEnding Story is Barret Oliver, he's 37 now and interestingly hasn't worked since 1989, one year after joining the Church of Scientology. He's now a photographer, has written a book about 19th century photography techniques, and teaches photography in LA. So yea... dudes into Cameras, and wasn't in Scott Pilgrim.

    "Pissed in the Indian" is one of the weirdest things I've heard in this podcast. Though I might try it, if I'm ever in England.

    Another amazing episode guys... Gets more random and dark, aswell as funnier, every week!!! Loved how defensive Towell was about the dreamcast lol :) Meiks lol... Young Neil was definately not in Neverending story, are you mental!!?? The minigame section was epic once more haha, I reccomend egg roulette!!! Even if it aint a mini game properly you know someones gunna stink of egg for the whole podcast....

    @LordsOfTechno Hopefully the mini-game segment will be around for a while. So if anyone has a mini-game suggestion (that would be achievable within a small studio), feel free to suggest.
