Getting Driver's Paintschemes and Special Tracks
Pick a driver that has a special paint scheme and a track that has a special feature (i.e Daytona has the Shootout) and race at the veteran level and win the race you will open up thunder plates and get the paint scheme as well as the special track.
EXTRA PAINT JOBS
First change difficulty to veteran or legend. Set race length to 3%, turn damage off and unlimited fuel/tires on.
Start up a quick race. Choose a driver that you want to unlock paint job.
Pick the night race in Daytona pepsi 400
Before qualifying go to car setup change your transmission to manual and your set the last gear in the gear ratio to 5.00.
Finish first and you will unlock a new paint job.
Unlock the Sandstorm 500K at Phoenix
To unlock the Sandstorm 500K at Phoenix, do a race with any driver at the Checker Auto Parts 500.When you win the race, after the celebration ends, you should get the Phoenix Road Course-the Sandstorm 500K.
All Kyle Petty Paint Jobs
First, win a race with Kyle Petty's 2002 Sprint PCS Car to get the 2001 Sprint PCS Car. Then,win a race with Kyle Petty's 2002 Charity Ride Car to get the 2001 Charity Ride Car. Congratulations! You have all of Kyle Petty's paint jobs.

Go to Create-a-car. Type first name as Dale. Then last name as Earnhardt. Your Done You don't have to save the car. You get the license plate.

Easy Takeout
If you want to take out a computer that is a head of you Just pull up to him on the passenger side of the car and push on the rear Quarter panel (back side of the car and it will spin out the computer (towards the wall). This is great for getting a yellow when you need fuel tires etc.

Unlock Special Track Modes
First set the diff. settings on Veteran or Legend. Then 2nd go to race modes, pick your driver of choice. Then pick the track with a special mode on it (example's): Daytona with the BUD SHOOT OUT / or Lowes with THE ALL-STAR) then you must win the race. You can also win the race with a driver with a special paint scheme while you win the race you will unlock the special track mode and the special paint scheme.]

Get Special Night Tracks and Road Courses
Under the career mode, bump the AI difficulty up to veteran. For every track you win at, you will get the night track, road course or special event! Of course, some of the tracks have no special night tracks or road courses (i.e. Bristol, New Hampshire). This tactic might work under the legend AI difficulty (I haven't tried it under legend). Winning the race with the AI difficulty veteran or legend is easier said then done, but just keep doing it till' you get better and you'll eventually win.

Go to settings and change your diff. to veteran then go to the single race pick someone that has a paint scheme to unlock go to any track win the race and you will unlock there paint scheme!!!

How to rename you Cars!!
If your like me, you probably didn't name your created cars. They're simply Car 1, Car 2, etc. To rename, go to modify, select a car, and at the car menu, press triangle. It will ask if you if want to save and select yes. Then at the save screen go to the car with the same title as the car you are saving. DELETE IT!! Then go back to the same space you just cleared, and save your car. Type in its new name and enjoy being better organized.

Easy Way To Complete Lightning Challenge "Game Time"
When your coming off of turn 1 pass the cars in front of you then draft right behind Tony Stewart until you come into turn 2 then make your move on him(in other words pass him) and then hold him off down the long stretch. Congratulations! You just completed Lightning Challenge "Game Time"!
