    1) The critiques about 30 fps are definitely warranted and justified with how the game was originally presented. 2) microsofts press conference really was terrible. Calling it a suckfest really doesn't seem that ridiculous to me. 3) everything that mc_allistar kid types comes off as insane, including his nonsensical typing style. 4) every single fable game passed fable 1 was disappointing and over hyped. This is no difference and I can relate to his comment. 5) Geralt sleeps with almost every single women he meets. Calling that comment misogynistic is like calling someone out for saying oranges are orange. 6) EA and DIce has ruined the respect and dignity of battlefield 2. And how they handled BF4 Most people will be 'passing' on this too. Almost every single microsoft 'hate filled' comment made after their release of the xbox one is absolutely justified. Microsoft has been deceitful and unprofessional with both the design of the system and how they handled its release. With privacy destroying hardware and out right insulting DRM programming, how anyone gives them any money now literally blows my mind. The fact that they flip flopped on some of these 'previously justified choices' just goes to show you how little they actually care about their consumers and are only interested in how much money they can make off of us while controlling what we watch, play, and share. These articles only show that you guys at gamesradar truly do not understand the principals and ethics behind being a gamer.

He's the stockphotos result for "angry man" that made me laugh the hardest. Looks like a bizarre Animorphs cover

You guys should know better than to go through Youtube comments. It's the Mos Eisley Cantina of the internet.

    So, so, soooooo true!

I'm surprised Jackonomics 2.0 didn't make it here. As far as GR commenters go, I feel like he has the highest vitriol-per-comment rate. :)

Some or these almost made me cry with laughter, The one about painting a black box and watching it collect dust was hilarious. To all the people saddened by the idiocy of some of these comments I would say chill out. Just because gaming is a cool hobby it doesn't mean everybody that plays games is a decent person you would want as a friend. There are twats in every 'community' we shouldn't encourage them but we definitely don't need to feel responsible for them.

Wow. Quotes like those just go to show that as games mature and become more intricate while striving to be recognized as something more than just "for children," gamers themselves, thanks mainly due to the internet, are becoming more childish, self-righteous, whining, illiterate bitches. It's ok to not be interested in a game or system, but damn, no wonder people gamers still have a stigma with crap like that flooding the internet. I don't know which is worse: this, or idiots who brag about how many expensive controllers they've smashed in temper tantrums.

The comment about No Man's Sky offends me the most honestly. Are all gamers these days such uncultered, unimaginitive sheep these days that they literally NEED the handholding tutorials? Pfheh!

Maybe the guy's friends in the metal gear one were trying to describe the length of the game and not it's quality.

  • Pooka - June 14, 2014 3:03 p.m.

Did you seriously make an article about some random internet nobs whining about video games? Gamesradar, loosening the definition of journalism one article at a time!
  • Nikku7 - June 14, 2014 9:32 p.m.

oooooh, They should add that one!! Keep it up, and these articles will be writing themselves soon!
  • kyuubi85 - June 15, 2014 9:08 a.m.

Video games journalism must be serious all the time!! how gamesradar dare to have some fun with an article!!

We laughed probably more than you guys just putting this one together! You should have seen the ones that we cut--yeesh!

Wait a minute, did the PS3 just get a new update that bricks it, or is this all talk of the update that bricked it in 2013? I have a PS3 but I only bought it to play exclusives like Last of Us and other story-driven games, so I don't follow the story much or turn it on. But I noticed there was an update recently (maybe it came late to me since I booted up the PS3 after a long time), and while my PS3 is fine, my friend said his PS3 no longer works because of a "can't find appropriate system storage error" that cropped up this week. He isn't much of a PS3 user anyway (nor is he a PC gamer), but is this a new update that is bricking the console?

I'd probably say that the ones that offend me the most are the "That game looks pointless as hell" (No Man's Sky) and the "Star Wars Battlefront will destroy this..." (Star Fox Wii U) I mean seriously, that's just some straight up ignorance. No Man's Sky is similar to Minecraft, in the way that yea there isn't a story that you don't invent yourself, your dropped into a huge sandbox that is apparently infinite and you do what you want. Even if you can't like this game because it just ins't your cup of tea you should still see how much effort this indie team is putting into this. As for the Star Fox thing, I missed the Nintendo press conference because of work, and I plan on watching it latter but even if the new Wii U version looks like a copy paste of the original it's not meant to compete with some AAA shooter from EA, it's there for nostalgia and fan service.

Same here. I honestly can't stand the utter verbal diherrea that spews from the gaming community these days.
