Monsters, Inc. 3D review

Pixar's latest 3D release seems a cruel joke at the expense of Mike Wazowski, the walking peeper lacking the second eye needed to appreciate its slick stereoscopy.

But then Pete Docter’s 2001 picture is a faintly sadistic affair, its freakish alt-world being dependent on power derived from terrorising children.

Not that this will prevent anyone enjoying this sparkling cartoon, peppered as it is with gags, slapstick and action made incrementally more exciting by the extra dimension.

This version also boasts the “company play” outtake you might’ve missed first time around.
