Mirror's Edge 2 briefly listed on Italian, German Amazon

Mirror's Edge 2 briefly showed up on two separate Amazon sites over the last week. OXM UK snapped a screen capture of the Italian listing for the unconfirmed, but often hinted-at, first-person freerunning sequel which was removed earlier today.

It was listed as an Xbox One exclusive, though when Mirror's Edge 2 appeared on Amazon Germany last Thursday it was listed for Xbox 360. It's not a good idea to draw too much detail from independent listings with mocked up cover art like these, though their recurrence is notable.

"We appreciate fan enthusiasm for Mirror’s Edge, especially fans throughout the retail channel," Electronic Arts told IGN about the German listing. "This is not official EA material. We have nothing to announce at this time."

EA has expressed continued interest in the franchise, and a former DICE executive producer said in November that it's "general knowledge in the Stockholm dev scene that Mirror's Edge 2 is in production at DICE."

I love the first. There's no way it has a big enough audience to be exclusive though and the 3rd party exclusive is all but dead anyway. It may however come out for xbox first. I want to see it on my pc though.

If this is a One exclusive, I will be quite upset.

Love the first game, but I don't recall it selling well enough to guarantee safety in it being an exclusive (someone check me on that - not sure about how it sold). I've wanted a sequel forever, but hopefully it will be cross-platform seeing as I intend to make the switch to Sony with the next generation.

i would like to know what system because we as freerunners as well as gamers would like it for all systems not just xbox they should really consider the ratings if it was to come out for all systems.
