Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is next free Xbox Live Gold game

The next free Xbox Live Games with Gold title will be Capybara's excellent puzzle contribution to Ubisoft's long-running fantasy series: Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, which normally costs $15. Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb announced the title will become free for all Gold subscribers from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15 on his blog.

The post also gives a look at other upcoming deals on Xbox Live--if you've been waiting to pick up some Borderlands 2 DLC, all currently released content will go on sale for 50 percent off on Sept. 24. XCOM, BioShock 2, and the original Borderlands will also see discounted add-ons during the "2K Ad-hoc Sale."

You have until the end of the month to grab the current Game with Gold, Rainbow Six Vegas (normally $10), for free.

Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.... but at least give us some retail releases ms. At least that way I can at least get some gamerscore.

I can't help but chuckle a little with these articles on the Gold free games and the remarks they generate. I would be a little annoyed too if I were a Gold subscriber. That part that makes me chuckle is wondering if MS thinks, "Hey we are really offering our subscribers a great value!!" or are they thinking, "Hehehehehe, we are really pulling the wool over the eyes of these fools!!"
