Microsoft E3 2011 press conference live stream

Following tradition, Microsoft’s Monday morning press conference kicks off E3. Last year MS gave us heavy doses of Kinect and fake animal petting, which was preceded by real games like Gears 3 and Metal Gear Rising. Will this year see more hardcore titles like those, including the heavily rumored Halo: Combat Evolved remake, or will we see the unwanted return of Skittles the Kinectimal. Watch here at GamesRadar’s exciting inaugural E3 live stream to find out.

@SwishiestB0g CASTLE FUCK YEAH! Yea; screen grabbing that was the highlight of this borefest.

Man, this stream is way better than the other ones online. Major props to you guys, I would never imagine you would make such a leap up from the old video player here.

I can believe that Xbox 360 is the best-selling console in North America, but stating that it will be the best-selling console GLOBALLY in a year? I sure hope so, but it's a very bold statement.

Linked my laptop up to my home cinema system and watched it with the family, I've just showed them that gaming isn't for anti-social cave dwellers, they've been blown away. Kinect bored me though, Halo made me jizz

Coming up next: Halo Kinec4, no controller support at all.

someone presented MS with a cliff and they jumped right off

    HALO 4!?!?!????? WTF!?!?!?
  • bluscorp - June 6, 2011 6:07 p.m.

was it just me, or did she call him shaun in the HALO 4 teaser?

Aang, you think Notch would have anythign ready for it yet? I hope, but am doubtful that it'll stick the winter release. If any game is actually made for kinect, it's fable (even though the guy missed one of his shots! heh), but it looks like the same old, same old.
  • aang1050 - June 6, 2011 6:04 p.m.

WTF?!?!? They announce minecraft but then say nothing about it. And Ryse and Fable: the Journey looked good, until they both started proclaiming that "You are the Controller". My god is Kinect going downhill faster than a dead tiger named Skittles. Just watch Nintendo beat Microsoft for the second year in a row.
  • LoganDeckard - June 6, 2011 6:03 p.m.

Overall, better than last year but still too much focus on Kinect bullshit.
  • db1331 - June 6, 2011 6:02 p.m.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. That was freaking terrible. I would be embarrassed/pissed if I played games on Xbox. Also, how is Halo 4 the start of a new trilogy? Do they know what a trilogy is? It also looked like they just stole a scene from Dead Space 2 and swapped Issac out for Master Queef when he was flying around that debris.
  • alphaman - June 6, 2011 6:02 p.m.

There was NOTHING new...except that Halo 4 is part of a trilogy (which, honestly, LESSENS the excitement. yay, 10 more years of the same IP)
  • 8bitBaby - June 6, 2011 6:01 p.m.

    guh! fist bump.
  • Crabhand - June 6, 2011 6:01 p.m.

I came in during the Halo CE remake announcement, then saw the Kinect segment. Really painful. It's a good thing they ended on Halo 4, otherwise it would have ended with a bad taste.
  • MyCoolWhiteLies - June 6, 2011 6 p.m.

Man, the last half of that presentation was painful. It's really too bad they stole their own thunder with the Halo 4 announcement. I would have actually been excited at the end.
  • LoganDeckard - June 6, 2011 5:59 p.m.

And Microsoft saves their asses with Halo 4.
  • PimplesInYourAsstista - June 6, 2011 5:59 p.m.

    That was....underwhelming.
