Metal Gear Solid 4 - in-depth details

How weapons work
Weapons have five main attributes. Pop into the menu and you can pan and zoom around them in 3D - a nice cosmetic touch, but it allows you to quantify your modifications, ranked S, A, B, C, D, or E. The categories are Damage, Shockwave, Penetration, Stability, and Reload. For example, the RPG has ‘S’ rank for Damage and Shockwave, but ‘D’ for reload speed.
