Mass Effect 3: Beautiful new screens show intense combat, dramatic staring, Shepard's big butt

Mass Effect 3 then. Exciting? Yes. Pretty? Definitely. We know that latter point as fact because of this fat slab of new screens that have appeared from Russian site Igromania. Showing off some tight close-quarters combat, they also feature some beautiful environments and the mandatory dramatic, reflective staring required for the third part of any epic trilogy.

Oh, and a bad dude gets Shepard's butt shoved right in his face.

@jack- I would be leaning more towards Cerberus. Either way you went in the end of ME2 they would betray you. If you helped them, then in ME3 they throw you aside and go after their own goals, you betray them...they get pissed and put a target on your back. Makes more sense to be a Cerberus operative.

@ Kingdom- I suspected krogan. The missing jawbone does seem to suggest some kind of decomposition, like the human husks already have (vaguely). My guess is, the random storm-trooper looking guys you fight? Are they some kind of Cerberus Troopers? Or could they be Earths primary army, going after Shepherd because of (basically) unleashing the reapers upon the whole of creation?

I think the big one with the four eyes is a Batarian . Don't know why it would be so huge though. If a Batarian seems huge how big will a krogan be?

Those husks are a bloody nuisance lol. Krogan husks would be really interesting. As for the big guy in the 1st pic, its a Yaahg which are only in the DLC. If you loved mass effect, then play Lair of the Shadow Broker, you will not be disappointed. All the other dlc are good too - just LOSB was by far superior.

@HitmanSB07 - I think I would agree with you, doesn't look much like the ole human husks to me, also kinda appears to have clawed hands which I feel like the Drell had but its been ages since I played ME2. Is the other a Krogan though? Body and size it looks like it to me but the eyes and stuff seem off, I dunno. Either way uber excited for ME3 dammit, come faster pl0x! (That's NOT what she said.)

@ Sinsational, lol not that big chunky thing (Yaahg?), the skinny ones. They don't look human based and the devs confirmed that there will be husks based on different species now, so maybe...
