In case you%26rsquo;ve forgotten, 1940s detective thriller LA Noire finally arrives in stores in less than a week %26ndash; and just to make sure we all remember, Rockstar%26rsquo;s rolled out a new trailer ahead of the May 17 launch. Offering up a cross-section of sweepingly dramatic dialogue and impeccably dressed hard-boiled cop action, it%26rsquo;s a short but slick reminder of what%26rsquo;s waiting for us next Tuesday.

If you%26rsquo;ve been watching LA Noire%26rsquo;sother videosup to this point %26ndash; which have includedin-depth explanations of the gameplay and story progression as well as rapid-cut trailerslike the above%26ndash; the theatrical outbursts, rapid-cut action shots and close-ups of eerily realistic faces aren%26rsquo;t too different from what you%26rsquo;ve already seen. The dialogue%26rsquo;s new, though, and if you listen carefully, you%26rsquo;ll get a few not-so-cryptic hints about LA Noire%26rsquo;s overarching, corruption-soaked plot.

If nothing else, this is a game we%26rsquo;ve been waiting for for nearly five years, andit%26rsquo;s nice to get one last glimpse to tide us over before we can finally delve in.
