I should hate Kevin Butler. I really should. On paper he's a fictional character cynically created to give a likeable comedic face to a huge multinational company in order to sell me stuff. An utter subversion of the world's creative talent. But the talent involved is so great, and the ads so well-written, paced and acted that I love him. I can't hate him for being a fictional corporate shill, because in my head he's real, goddamnit. He has to be, because the world is just a better place if he exists. Which in a way makes Sony's marketing even more effective and more insidious, but I just don't care. Even though I should. Damnit.
Anyway, here's his new ad for Gran Turismo 5. Which will be coming out at some point, probably.
