Hard Corps, Beyond Good & Evil HD, and more attending the XBLA 'House Party'

You have to bring your own booze and friends, and pay for the games, though

Just like any good party, the upcoming Xbox Live 'House Party' promotion, which starts next week, is going to cost you a bit of cash. Okay, so maybe Microsoft isn't the best party host ever, but still, games - the event is promoting some high-profile additions to the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Hard Corps: Uprising, which launches on February 16, will kick off the month-long celebration of downloadable downloads. The full release schedule is as follows:

February 16
Hard Corps: Uprising - 1200 Microsoft Points

February 23
Bejeweled Blitz - 800 Microsoft Points

March 2
Beyond Good & Evil HD - 800 Microsoft Points

March 9
Torchlight - 1200 Microsoft Points

March 16
Full House Poker - 800 Microsoft Points

House Party games will likely be given a special presence on the Xbox Live Arcade, so expect a makeover on the digital storefront beginning next week.

Hm... BG&E... Never played it, but dammit I'm curious after all the things about BG&E2. Meh, might as well try it.

I didn't think BG&E was coming out until this fall. Could that possibly mean...a sequel...this year...? Do I dare to hope?

Hmm everyone seems really excited for the new BG&E HD remake comin out. I've never played it, but due to the popularity i might have to check it out; it will either be that or stacking... also everyone shouldn't overlook Torchlight, a great game which i think will have multiplayer on the 360 version, but i may be wrong.

BG&EHD!!!!!!!!! I almost can't contain my excitement! This is certainly the best news I've heard this year, so far, and so CHEAP, too! Easily a day one purchase - hopefully the exposure will be great enough that we'll get some news on the sequel sooner rather than later. I hope they hype the sheep-dip out of this, because it's WORTH it, and it DESERVES to be a bigger hit than it was. Hooray! K, gonna go dance for joy some more! Yay!!!!!!!!
