Halo: Reach Campaign Walkthrough Guide

Once More Unto the Breach

After you take your little tumble, you will come to the edge of a cliff. Below you will be a Zealot and a gaggle of grunts skulking around. You can get the “If They Came to Hear Me Beg” Achievement by running off the cliff, landing on the Zealot below and performing an assassination on him. It can be tricky to pull off, but it can be done – eventually. Fight through the rest of the enemies here and make your way along the road with Emile on the Mongoose. Keep going along the road, past the Scarabs, through the tunnel, and over the jump.

This Town isn’t Big Enough

As you pass the structure on the right, you will come up against a mass of Covenant enemies. Some grunts and grunt captains will pop in to say hi, as well as a Wraith tank. Once they are all destroyed, follow Emile to the north through some more resistance in the canyons. Eventually a cut scene will kick in as a Scarab blocks your way. After it is over, continue through the canyons and grab supplies if you need them from the dead soldier just inside the first entrance. Drones will attack soon after along with some Jackals, so sprinting isn’t a bad idea about now. To the East, the canyon exit will have an Armor Lockup and Drop Shield Ability if you want to use them to get some health back.

As you reach the Pillar, there will be a massive battle going on below you. Jump on in and make your way east. Head through the opening under it and make your way into the next area. Fight a ton more Covenant here as well as turrets and Ghosts. When you eventually clear the area, head inside and take out the elites and grunts there and make your way through the corridor on the lower level. You’ll run into some soldiers who will tell you the dry dock is “across the way” and you will able to grab some health here as well as the Hologram and Sprint ability. Enter the next room to face even more enemies and then head out the door to the north to find a set of stairs that will lead you to two Hunters and some crates. Once you take out the hunters, a door to the east, up the stairs will open, allowing you inside the building there.

Make your way to the south and you will face some more jackals and another Elite. Take his plasma sword if you like and continue across the catwalk for a showdown with a brute captain and a few more enemies. Once they are all FINALLY defeated, head up the stairs at the far end and go through the door, up the stairs, through the corridor and eventually outside.

Keyes

As you make your way outside, the soldiers there will inform you of the situation on Autumn. You will need to clear the landing zone for Keyes to bring in a Pelican so you can hand him the package. Make your way forward and start going all gung-ho on the crazy mess of Covenant enemies below. Drop ship after drop ship will continue to bring more enemies, so if you can grab a Gravity Hammer or Plasma Sword – or both – I would highly suggest it. Eventually you will wipe them all out and Keyes and his Pelican will show up. When they do arrive, watch the scene and try not to get choked up. Once the scene is over, head to the MAC Cannon and activate it. Before you get to the cannon, you will need to plow your way through numerous elites and Jackals, but there is health packs in the side rooms if need be. Once they are all down, head up the stairs to the east.

As you reach the MAC Cannon, you will need to take out each of the Phantoms and Banshees that show up, quickly; If you don’t they'll take you out quick. You will see the Super Cruiser in the sky, but ignore it for now and just focus on the real threats. You won’t be able to hit the SC until it gets closer, so even aiming at it is a waste of time. When you are able to hear it, a large red circle will appear and Keyes will tell you to go for it. One shot is all it takes so nail it good and watch the cut scene afterwards as the game ends.

OR DOES IT??

Mission 11: Lone Wolf

There’ll Be Another Time…

After the credits roll, your only objective here is to stay alive. It’s a losing battle, but it’s still something to see just how long you can survive for all by yourself with limited options. Do your best to stay on your feet after drop ship after drop ship of enemies land, and once you do finally get taken down, then the game is really over.
