GTA V officially announced, trailer coming soon

Expect the internet to grind to a halt on November 2nd

Finally. FI-NA-LLY! Rockstar have confirmed what we all knew - GTA 5 is in development and even better, there's a reveal trailer due to hit on November 2nd.

The excitement levels in GamesRadar UK Towers is palpable. There are fist-pumps, two 'whoops' and a claim of some sex wee creeping out - all of this over a bloody logo. But that's what a new Grand Theft Auto can do to a completely sane person.

What does the logo suggest? Well, the first guess is money. The green of the V and the font of the Five means the next game will be all about the Benjamins. This is obvious as all GTAs are like this though, right?

We're not saying that Rockstar definitely read our GTA V feature from last week and now have the final pieces of their next game in place thanks to the genius ideas of GRUK but it is a rather large coincidence. Maybe.

even though the colour of the V is green, i think it could be based in Great Britain because the patterning on the V is exactly the same as the patterning in the top right hand corner of an english £20 note (not the elgar note)

The green might represent Grove street though that looks more like money.

Hey, i was on Rockstar's official Twitter page and was messing around with the dev console and got this link to the background image which is slightly obscured by the Twitter stuff. Also note the bottom bit is obscured in twitter and only viewable through the resource link.. It doesnt look familiar too any game i've seen. I'll be embarassed if this is old news lol, i just got a little excited xD
