Bulletstorm might be one of the most sadistic videogames I've ever seen. It's a shooter designed to discourage just shooting, one that rewards you - with actual points - for mercilessly torturing and toying with enemies before finally allowing them to die. If you're killing a guy with a single bullet, you're doing it wrong. If you're impaling him on a giant cactus needle before wrapping him in explosives, you're starting to learn.

This debut trailer - which showcases the very first gameplay footage of Bulletstorm - celebrates that ultraviolent style. Seriously, try to count how many poor, screaming enemies die in this video, and in how many disturbingly different ways. I got 25, but I'm pretty sure I missed a few...

@RonnyLive19881 left for dead doesn't need iron sights, it would just slow the game down. teamfortress would probably benefit from it as well as half life episode 3... if it ever comes out

I totally agree with bluscorp there are only so many ways you can shoot somebody until it gets old... not saying shooters are bad... just way overdone right now.. and btw, LIMBO looks crazy cool

Ahh, you gotta love Epic and their constant aim to make every game they make as bloody and as masculine as possible. I mean jeez, it just look's like a complete clusterfuck of bullet's, but it doesn't look like as though there are many AI on screen at once. If this is true, why so many bullet's? Oh I forgot, it's because this game is being developed for MEN by MEN.

@RonnyLive19881 Bioshock has iron sights, you just have to click the stick. It's a pain, and a painful game so I'm not disagreeing with you, just pointing it out. @bluscorp You listed awful games, try out something like fallout, or bad company two, something that adds another layer to the shooting.

@Spydie4x4 Iknow your trying to be arigent, but with all the mw2, waw, jc2 and so many others, I do feel like a puzzler. BTW i have a wii and am gonna get some platformers.

Good it has iron sites, I hate Bioshock, Left4Dead and Team fortress 2 for not having them. Makes the games feel dated IMO.
