E3 2011: Brand new Arkham City screens show multi-talented badassery of Batman. Also, a good look at Riddler's face

Is there anything Batman can't do? Yes, there probably is. But that's not important. What is important are all the things he can do. Thanks to his utility belt, those things are many. He can batarang. He can grapple gun. He can zip line. He can kick the bad guys in the face. He can do all these things in Batman: Arkham City, as these brand new screens demonstrate:

And look here. It's not the first, but it's certainly the best glimpse of the Riddler's face that we've been given so far:

Arkham City will be out in October for PC, PS3 and 360. And, as we discovered at the recent Nintendo conference, there's also going to be a Wii U version. We're predicting 'detective vision' on the Wii U controller. Surely?

@KidKatana The guy with the hammer from the trailer and the guy with the big knife are supposedly brother, conjoined twins

First day purchase for me so I, too, can feel as multi-talented as the Batman

@ KidKatana Just because they promise more variety doesnt mean they wont have some of the same old baddies. They probably meant we are adding to the lack of variety of baddies by keeping the old ones and adding a bunch of new diverse type of baddies. *Shrugs* when I heard about the variety I expected to keep the old ones. If it is not broken dont fix it. They were fine to me just not very diverse (in the variety sense), same ole same ole. I mean other games do it, you are correct, but they build on the variety. An example is Assassian's Creed. They have the same old boring guards, but by the time you get to Brotherhood (assuming you played all 3 thus far) you have the Guards (the little variety they have), the wolf men, the borja, the french, etc...

Penguins in the third screen... More of the Penguin!

@KidKatana I heard there are two one-armed guys. They were twins separated at birth, but they work for different gangs. I'm guessing this is just the other one from the one-armed hammer dude from the trailer.

Hmmm, that extra large, one-armed thug with the big knife is blatently a reskin of that hammer dude from the trailer. To be fair, every game does that, but I thought Rocksteady said they were gonna introduce a lot more enemy variety. Other than that this all looks pretty badass.

It's beautiful! @DannyMB I don't think it is that Batman symbol, there are 6 points on it, more or less just the gothic Arkham style

Wow, riddlers old as fuck Detective vision on the WII U will be awesome, its great nintendos getting this game and its special controls. Considering it will come after the other versions were looking at a possible extra content.

Is that a bat symbol on the airship on second to last screen? And i'm guessing these screens are from pc version? They're looking pretty damn slick!
