Wait, Pokemon X AND Y have Charizardite X? Either that's a typo or I now regret getting Pokemon X

I forget which way this goes but aggron and tyranitar are in opposite version, but they're mega stones are in different games from them too so if ttar is in x, then ttars mega stone is in Y.

Downloaded Y myself. I always liked Yveltal's design better, but ultimately what pushes my decision was Dragalge. Mainly because his typing of poison and Dragon and the hope that he will fit my playstyle more than Clawitzer would.

    Downloaded? Like pirated?

Like, purchased digitally trough the Nintendo 3DS E-shop :P I'm guessing you don't yet own a 3DS, or there's usually not internet where you live? Otherwise i find it kinda odd that you wouldn't be aware of this XD

They do that now? That seems a bit strange for Nintendo, of all the companies. I guess they were pressured to keep up with the times. (and no, I don't have a 3ds)

Downloaded X this morning, totally blind to what that actually entailed besides Xerneas. Flipping love Heracross though...totally bummed it's Mega is Y exclusive! :< I just knew they'd pull a stunt like that. Nobody with any semblance of sanity is gonna want to swap Heracross's for Pinsir's lawls. Oh well. I don't care that much.

Well, I don't know if mega stone can be traded, but if they can, maybe I can trade you a heracross with a heracossite when/if I get it? ^^

That would be good, but yeah, it's still a mystery as to whether the Stones can be'd have thought somebody would have tested it by now. Bizarrely, it seems as though some of the stones are on the opposite version; not naming names to avoid spoiling anything, but one version will have an exclusive Pokémon, whereas the other has its Mega Stone. This applies to a couple of Pokémon apparently, so it would suggest the intention is to trade the Mega Stone, or keep it and trade for the Pokémon you need to use it.
