Dead Space 2 Video: Full Access Playthrough

In case you didn’t read our site for the last 48 hours, we really enjoyed Dead Space 2, so much so that we were ready to get the cameras running on our second playthrough posthaste. We skipped the first half-hour and come in just as Isaac gets a chance to fight back against the hideous Necromorphs and grab his iconic suit.

Watch as reviewer Henry Gilbert tries his best not to embarrass himself while playing the game with an audience. Marvel as he unlocks weapons and over-powered items only available at the start of a New Game + campaign. Cringe along with Brett Elston and Chris Antista as they witness Hank nearly dying several times. Gasp as limbs are severed and corpses are stomped until they’re a fine, bloody mash. Be there or be scared!

The "H" in Henry is for "handicapped". Good to know. People have "accused" this of being Qiuck Look rip-offs, and rightly so. However, your banter is so damn enthralling, in a completely different way than GB's. I love everything you do so much. Never stop guys. "Tell me something; I'll tell you when it happened." Fucking love that. The Kinesis sounds a hell of a lot like the Gravity Gun, especially moving around metal plates.

@adamstephenson Offhand, I'd guess it was in issue around July-September 1992. Tried to do some googling to confirm that, but couldn't find an answer.

I wish this game came out next week, it's been distracting me all week for my exams. I love it, although the Rivet Gun I got for preordering sucks. Hopefully multiplayer is good.

Being the dead space nerd that I am, I noticed that you made a mistake when you said they reused a lot of stuff. while that is true, they didn't re use the same item boxes. the new ones are taller and thinner, much more square that the first.

OK Brett Elston. When did the SNES Street Fighter 2 code allowing 2 players to choose the same fighter appear in Classified Information in Nintendo Power. BTW I am on podcast 47 or something, all the way from ep. 1. Loving that stuff. I am on a 3 a day habit at work now. Glad you guys didnt quit at 50.

Henry, I didn't realize how hilarious Isaac could truly be. I put your necro-stomping technique to the test and can confirm that Isaac does curse after around five or so stomps, regardless of what he's stomping on. I actually found it to be better when just stomping on the ground because the noise from his boots tends to drown out his own voice. Mix that with the sickening squish from the corpses and it's almost impossible to hear it at all with a low volume level. Love this game, the review, the FAP, T-Dar and everything else that makes GR amazing. Nice work, gents. MOAR FAPS PLEEZE!!1!

Sorry to be picky but those boxes weren' the same ones as in the first game. But what do I know I'm not the Dead Space expert ;)

I love the Havok engine! Plowing through dozens of dead knights in demon's souls always made me smile. This game looks great, but i may wait for it to get to around 40$.

  • 8bitBaby - January 27, 2011 1:41 p.m.

sharts of flowers. walkthroughs of the game have been posted on YT for like 6 days now, so this isn't a spoiler. it's just fun. you guys should do special faps and live stream games being played. ...just sayin' also... Isaac ain't no Gordon, but he's cool.
  • Sevej - January 27, 2011 1:20 p.m.

  • R_U_Guys_From_British - January 27, 2011 12:02 p.m.

YESS!! I love the rate at which these faps keep coming and the faps themselves! Keep it up!
  • humpiedumpie - January 27, 2011 9:34 a.m.

Yay more FAP's! Please keep them coming, its like a small Talkradar episode, so its great! It would be even more awesome if you guys could release them as a video podcast, so i can watch them on the go :)
  • batman5273 - January 27, 2011 9:25 a.m.

I have watched so many of these FAP's that I a developing callouses and going blind.
  • elpurplemonkey - January 27, 2011 9:23 a.m.

Awesome as always. And I agree with the post above me, having these be so regular is great. It's like whenever you guys used to do stuff on Ustream, but then only a few of us saw it. Now that there's a good video player, something like this has finally become feasible. Keep it up!
  • AngryScotsman - January 27, 2011 8:10 a.m.

I love how regular these are. Keep it up, fellers!
