Have you already downloaded a copy of Dead Rising 2: Case Zero? Join the club. According to Capcom, the standalone prologue for Dead Rising 2 sold more copies during its first week than any other DLC in the history of Xbox LIVE.
We contacted Capcom to find out exactly how many downloads they were talking about. Unfortunately, due to an agreement with Microsoft, they are not allowed to publicly disclose the exact number of copies of games sold. However, we can get a rough idea of how many people purchased a downloadable copy of the Dead Rising 2 prologue by looking at the number of users listed on the game’s leaderboards.

According to GamerBytes, the Case Zero leaderboards showed 328,290 players on it as of September 7, which was less than seven days after the game officially launched. If Microsoft collects 30% of the profits from sales for the tile, GamerBytes estimates that Capcom could have made over $1 million during the game’s first week.
