Danger is everywhere in new Red Dead Redemption trailer

Random acts of violence take center stage in second Life in the West video

Words: on April 2, 2010

At first blush, Red Dead Redemption looks a lot like a Western-themed version of Grand Theft Auto IV, but - as today's new Life in the West trailer illustrates - it actually has a lot more going on in its sprawling expanse of wilderness and frontier towns. From angry wildlife and travelers under attack to bandit ambushes, the developers have gone out of their way to fill the world with enough random violence and craziness to (hopefully) keep its vast stretches of desert and prairie from ever feeling "empty." Check out the video below to get a sneak peek before the game hits next month.

I'm so hyped for this right now. The realism in the shooting is amazing, the whole game looks great.
