Some of these trophies require extremely powerful characters in your party, and achieving the tougher trophies first will more or less turn the easier trophies into freebies. [TRO01] 4.0 GPA [Value: Platinum] Preconditions: Trophies 2 through 51 earned. Strategy: None. Get all the other trophies and you will be awarded with this one automatically. [TRO02] Item Warrior [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Netherworld Academy Strategy: Go from floor 1 to 100 without leaving the Item World. You can enter all the mystery gates you want, but you must enter the item world fresh (at floor 1) and cannot leave the item world until you hit the 100th floor. Be careful with the Innocent towns: when you talk to the Gate Keeper, the default option is to leave. [TRO03] Trophy Shop Trophy [Value: Silver] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 90+ Strategy: After you complete the 90th floor, the Mystery Gate in subsequent floors will occasionally (somewhat rarely) take you to a room with a thief standing at the wall opposite the Gate Keeper. Talk to her to get the trophy. No, you don't have to buy anything. Just talk, it's that easy! You may want to consider saving your game after completing the 90th floor, and reloading your file if you are unsuccessful in finding the Trophy Shop Thief. [TRO04] Carnagenist [Value: Gold] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Land of Carnage Recommended: a low-ranking legendary item, if you're lazy. Strategy: Go from floor 1 to 100 without leaving the Item World. You can enter all the mystery gates you want, but you must enter the item world fresh (at floor 1) and cannot leave the item world until you hit the 100th floor. Be careful with the Innocent towns: when you talk to the Gate Keeper, the default option is to leave. [TRO05] Defeat Wise Innocents [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Floor 20+ Strategy: A note about killing pirates: pirates in Disgaea 3 almost ALWAYS appear at the beginning of the second round of combat. If you're hunting for pirates, you won't find them by clearing floors in a single turn. Also note: after a pirate ship arrives, another may still arrive at the beginning of the turn after that. To achieve any of the pirate trophies in the Item world, all you have to do is kill everyone that arrives on a pirate ship (or other vessel, such as a spinning tortoise shell). There are no trophies for killing Pirate Pirating Pirate Pirates (the pirates encountered when Reverse Pirating, aka when you take up the role of Pirate Pirating Pirates in order to pirate the Pirates that formerly pirated you. Go ahead, say it. It's fun. Pirate Pirating Pirate Pirates!) [TRO06] Defeat UFO(?) [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Floor 20+ Strategy: This one's just a single succubus failing to stop her UFO from crash landing on your Item World stage. Kill her. [TRO07] Defeat Eryngi Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary/Rare Item, Floor 30+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO08] Defeat Donnax2 Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary/Rare Item, Floor 30+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO09] Defeat Lucky Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary/Rare Item, Floor 40+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO10] Defeat Cheerates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary/Rare Item, Floor 40+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO11] Defeat Cowboy Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary/Rare Item, Floor 40+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO12] Defeat Asian Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 50+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO13] Defeat Sports Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 50+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! Powerthirst not included. [TRO14] Defeat Pirate Cleaners [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 50+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! Swab the poop deck and watch out for toilet plungers, har har har. [TRO15] Defeat Ghost Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 60+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO16] Defeat Z Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 60+ Strategy: Rock the Dragon Ball Z ripoff on the flying nimbus. [TRO17] Defeat Horizon Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 60+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO18] Defeat UFO Pirates(?) [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 70+ Strategy: Note: This is not the same as the other "Defeat UFO(?)". This one will be a single Super Galaxyman class character standing on a UFO. Feel free to kill him. [TRO19] Defeat Pirate Club [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 70+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO20] Defeat Garden Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 70+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO21] Defeat Boney Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 80+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO22] Defeat Kit Cat Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 80+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO23] Defeat Element Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 80+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO24] Defeat Shinsengumi [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 90+, Land of Carnage(?) Recommended: Powerful characters. Strategy: I have never seen these pirates outside the Land of Carnage, though I expect an encounter with them is still possible there. But even in the LoC these guys are not too bad with a character that can dish out 100 million damage per hit. [TRO25] Defeat Red Pirates [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 90+ Strategy: Strategy? Kill the pirates! [TRO26] Defeat Prinny Pirates [Value: Silver] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 90+, Land of Carnage Recommended: Very powerful characters. Strategy: No, you can't lift and throw them. They're all fitted with the Heavy Stance Evility. No, you cannot throw an explosive at them to have them chain- react and explode. These are the non-exploding prinnies. [SPOILERS: Some of them even have Prinny Laharl's antennae!] They've got 400 million HP each and pretty jacked stats for prinnies, so be sure to kill them before they have a chance to attack you. [TRO27] Defeat 10 Gents Pirates [Value: Silver] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 90+, Land of Carnage Recommended: Very powerful characters. Strategy: Kill the 10 Gents pirates however you see fit. It's best to kill them on the turn they arrive, or otherwise before they have a chance to attack you, because odds are, if they attack you, you're not going to be there any more. Though the ten of them have relatively low HP (around 250 Million for the highest one) their defenses are so jacked up that they may take two hits each. [TRO28] Defeat Baal Pirates [Value: Silver] Preconditions: Item World, Legendary Item, Floor 90+, Land of Carnage Recommended: Very powerful characters. Strategy: It took me four hours of straight searching to find these guys. For future reference, they look a bit like Eryngi pirates (on the rickshaw ship, 6 red Mushroom-Baals and an Anti-Messiah). The Baals all have 400 Million HP, and the Anti-Messiah a mere 150 Million. Kill the Baal pirates however you see fit. It's best to kill them on the turn they arrive, or otherwise before they have a chance to attack you, because odds are, if they attack you, you're not going to be there any more. I had the very good fortune of having my Geomancer's "Geo Change" skill create a "Reverse Damage" tile before the Baal Pirates arrived. Though the Anti-Messiah clued in to destroy Mao with an Omega Heal, once I took him down the Baals were easy pickings for me. [TRO29] Treasure Raider [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Mao at a "high" level Recommended: Mao at level 9999 to make life easier. Strategy: In the Item world, enter a Mystery Gate. Occasionally you will be sent to a room with large stacks of crates, each with a treasure on top. Jump around and grab them all for this trophy. [TRO30] Obey the Cat God [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, Mao level 9999 Strategy: While in the Item World, enter a Mystery Gate. Occasionally, you will be transported to a room with a few scattered crates and a huge tower made out of crates. In order to climb to the top, you will need Mao at level 9999 (unless Mao is in the improved jumping at HQ club). You need to be able to jump up a stack of 3 boxes. So, climb to the top, and talk to the Cat God. He will sell you Salves and Serums, which boost your stats permanently (stats are lost at reincarnation, unfortunately). You don't need to buy anything, just talk to the Cat God. [TRO31] Reverse Bandit [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: See: TRO33 Recommended: See: TRO33 Strategy: See TRO33 for a general strategy. However, to attain this trophy, you only need to nab all the treasures, (level sphere not required) so it's quite easy. [TRO32] Reverse Robber [Value: Silver] Preconditions: See: TRO33 Recommended: See: TRO33 Strategy: See TRO33 for a general strategy. However, to attain this trophy, you only need to nab all eight Innocents, so it's rather easy. [TRO33] Reverse Viking [Value: Gold] Preconditions: Have Reverse Pirating ability, a few accessories that have large (3 or more) movement buffs, and the Pirate ship. Recommended: Characters with the Sky High evility or equivalent abilities (such as Galaxymen, who can pass through enemies). A few monster-type characters with high Throw stats. Humanoids with high throw stats will make things quicker, too. Strategy: This is going to take a fair bit of time. You need to do a lot of equipment sharing (giving a character movement-buff shoes, moving that character, then removing the shoes so someone else can use them) and free- throwing (sending a chain of monster characters out to gain additional throw distance). You have 3 turns to move all eight innocents, all eight chests, and the level sphere to your ship. That means that of your 30 total actions, 17 of them involve a lift-throw at MINIMUM, meaning on average you need to reach an object and throw it back to your ship in less than two turns. Fortunately, with the above mentioned techniques, it's a possible task. On your first turn, you should focus most of your efforts on clearing a path from your ship to the trapped innocents. Your mileage will vary based on the shape of the stage; if you don't like the layout of the stage, quit, reload, and try again. On your second turn, line up as many characters as possible to begin hauling items back. Start with the items that are the farthest away (that would be the Innocents). You may want to only send about 6 characters after them, so you have four monsters available to articulate a throw chain back to the ship. Remember: You need to throw the Innocent onto one of your monster characters, who will bounce the Innocent to another monster character, and repeat until the monsters bounce the Innocents back to the ship. A word of caution: make sure you do not bounce one Innocent into another, or the trophy won't be earned. After each throw chain, you can press O on your monsters to call them back into your Base Panel so you can send them out again to start a new chain. Once your six Innocent throwers are done tossing, send a few more people out to grab the closer goodies and toss them on board your ship. On the third turn, just finish throwing everything else on board. Make sure somebody's on the ship, you wouldn't want to get left behind with a Game Over after all that work. [TRO34] Who Wants to be a Milliondamagaire [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: A reasonably powerful character. Strategy: Just do a million damage in a single execution. It's quite easy. 3X3 attacks recommended. [TRO35] 100,000,000 Damage Pyramid [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: A powerful character. Recommended: Well into post-game, able to handle the Land of Carnage. Strategy: Do 100,000,000 in a single combo. I prefer to do this with a single character. LoC House of Ordeals 4 is good for this. A powerful character with a decent Fist weapon can churn out 100 million from a Big Bang attack easily. Alternatively, Omega Heal + High RES stat + Death's Heal works well, too. [TRO36] The Ten Billion Damage Man [Value: Gold] Preconditions: The ability to deal unnecessarily large amounts of damage. Recommended: Hero Prinny, from "Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?". He is DLC, which means you must purchase him from the PSN (1.99 solo, or 5.49 for the fake hero pack, which includes Midboss(!) as well as Dragon) and I used one of Hero Prinny's Evilities to acquire this sum of damage. Strategy: Step one, get your character of choice a maxed out Rank 40 Weapon and rarity-matched maxed out accessories. Myself, I used Laharl with a Baal Sword filled to the brim with Fencers (500*8) and 3 Trapezohedrons filled with Guardians (3*8*500). For information on how to acquire these, see the Item Maximization FAQ. At any rate, the point is to have a maxed out S-rank ability (S*640%) and 99,999,999 of the affecting skill stats. 99,999,999 is not completely necessary, but kind of inevitable. Teach and equip Hero Prinny with the "Hell's Finest" Evility, which increases Evasion by 50% and increases damage recieved by 1000%, and then attack him with your S-rank skill. While Laharl's "Slayer's Descent" was only hitting 9 enemies for 510M each (roughly 5 billion damage total), by hitting Prinny with a 1v1 skill he scored 17 billion, more than enough. For anyone too lazy to max their stats out, so long as you can perform a 9-enemy-AoE skill for 112M or more damage you can achieve this Trophy by teaching each of your party members the Hell's Finest Evility and then performing the 9-enemy-AoE attack on the lot of them. [TRO37] Attack of the Counter 10 [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Two characters with 10 or more Counter Attacks (Shown as the red crossing swords in the attribute window) Recommended: Standing on Invincibility tiles would be nice. Strategy: (NOTE: Currently unconfirmed) Best way to do this is to beat yourself up. Brawlers among others have naturally high counter-attack rates, and these can be improved via both Item World and Class World upgrades, so getting a Counter Attack rate of 15 shouldn't be too hard. Once you have two characters with high counter-attack rates, just have one hit the other and hope for the best. (AGAIN, NOTE: UNCONFIRMED). [TRO38] Cinco De Panelo [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item World, 5 Geo Block map Recommended: no Invincibility/Mighty Enemy/No Colour Change blocks. Strategy: Okay this one isn't actually difficult - standard item world stuff. Just clear the room of Geo tiles with a combo of 5. (Unconfirmed: or more?) [TRO39] 10 Block Combo [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Class World, moderately sized, flat battle area. 2 or more Geo Block colours. Recommended: Someone with plenty of HP (20,000 should be enough in a low-level class world), a fist fighter with the Triple Kick and Final Arts ability and very low attack power. Strategy: A picture is worth a thousand words, so have a look at the following screenshot: http://twinkfish.com/misc/Disgaea3-10blocks.jpg Basically you want to arrange geoblocks in a 2-layer checkerboard fashion. For example, if you have two Geo Block colours, Red and Green, you want to arrange them such that when looking at them from a side view they have the following pattern: ...[R][G][R][G][R][G][R][G][R] ..![G][R][G][R][G][R][G][R][G][R] where "!" is where you want to throw a green block to initiate the chain. (Note: this is a SIDE VIEW representation, NOT a top view representation) Blocks will fall one at a time to create a new 2-block combo each time. One thing to note is that this combo must clear all remaining geoblocks on the map. If, after you finish building this wall you have spare pieces left over (apart from the block you throw to start the combo) destroy the left over pieces. [TRO40] Consult Your Physician [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Lots of electricity. Strategy: Play for ten hours. You don't actually have to be at the TV playing for all ten hours, (I went to class, for example, and left the game on) just accumulate 10 consecutive hours of game time. Load your file, play for a bit, and 10 hours after you load your file, voila, success. [TRO41] ABC's of Hitting [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: None Strategy: At the Netherworld Academy (aka HQ) There's a statue of a prinny reading a book/dirty magazine, and on one side (the side facing the warp gate) there will be a small panel/plaque at the base of the statue. Keep talking to it (about 10 or so times) and something will throw an ABC gum at you. Kind of rude, but a trophy's a trophy. [TRO42] 10 Piece Combo Meal [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Item/Class/Other Geotile level, Attack+1 Geotile effect Recommended: A bunch of weak people with ranged attacks (Bows work best) and one really powerful character, multiple Attack+1 panels for convenience. Strategy: With the stage set this one is really easy to do. You must hit the enemy with 11 consecutive attacks for this to work (don't worry, Misses still add to the combo count so don't worry if your hit chance is 1%). The final attack in the combo must kill the enemy, so have an overpowered unit initiate the final attack. I'd recommend grabbing a bunch of level 1's, placing them on Attack+1 tiles within range of the enemy, and just fire away. On the left of the screen you can view the "Attack Entry", where pictures of each character in the attack queue are visible (characters on Attack+1 tiles will have multiple entries). When you have 10 images listed in the Attack Entry, send your overpowered character in to initiate the final blow and execute the attack. [TRO43] Jumptastic! [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: None Strategy: At the HQ, jump 100 times. [TRO44] The Ten Towers [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: 9 Humanoid characters, and one more character. Strategy: This is really easy. Just build a tower of ten characters and kill something. You can build a tower by continually sending humanoids onto the base humanoid of the tower. Each time you move a character onto the base character, s/he will climb to the top of the tower. When your entire team is a part of this tower, kill an enemy. [TRO45] Axel's Rose [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Legendary Item, Item World Strategy: After you complete the 60th floor, the Mystery Gate on subsequent floors has a chance of warping you to a room with Axel in it. Talk to him. You don't have to fight him if you don't want to, but if you do (I wanted to have my Axel kill that Axel) keep talking to him and he'll snap and fight you. [TRO46] Persuade by Force [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Homeroom Assemby Strategy: If the Student Council Reps happens to like you, just try to extort money from them. They HATE that and will almost guaranteed turn down your proposal each time. Rather than give up, select the option to Persuade by Force and just kill 'em. [TRO47] Combo No. 255 [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Patience, the ability to last about 150 turns Recommended: A character who can attack twice or more in a row, Item/Class world with an Invincibility Geo Cube. Strategy: Every time you attack someone without moving afterward, a "Combo: #x + #%" will be displayed. You need to get the Combo number to 256 by attacking 256 times without moving. Using a single cyberdemon, I managed to shoot Marona over 200 times in less than 15 minutes, so it's not as bad as it seems. [TRO48] Capture Enemy [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: Weak enemy / strong characters in base panel Strategy: In case you don't know what it means to capture an enemy, just throw a regular enemy character into your base panel. You cannot capture story characters or enemy types that you cannot create in Homeroom. Just go to the first level, grab a cat, and toss 'er in. [TRO49] Magichangician [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: 5 pairs of Monster/Humanoids in Homeroom clubs Strategy: Have 5 monster type characters magichange with 5 humanoid characters in one battle. In order to magichange, a humanoid must be in the same Club as the monster who wishes to magichange. [TRO50] Receive 4, Move 20 [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: 4 monster-type characters with a combined Throw stat (indicated by the Palm icon in the attribute window) of 21 or more. Recommended: Two prinnies (throw: 6 by default) and two monsters with a throw of 5. Strategy: I like House of Ordeals 4 for this, because once you're finished with your mischief, one Big Bang will end the stage. Have one of your humanoid characters lift someone (for me, Laharl was giving Etna a toss). Position your monster characters accordingly across the map, and throw someone onto the first monster of the chain. That probably wasn't clear enough, so let me explain: Monster characters can "throw" characters; each monster has a Throw stat akin to humanoid characters, however, monsters lack the ability to lift. When a character is thrown at a monster, that character will "bounce" off the monster in the direction that monster is facing, x tiles of distance (where x is the value of the monster's throw stat). You can change the direction your characters face by highlighting them, holding Square, and then pressing the directional buttons. Footnote: you cannot create infinite bounce loops by having two prinnies face each other; I've tried it. So basically, set your monsters up such that they will chain bounces together for a combined distance of 21 or more tiles. For a monster with a throw of 6, the next monster in the chain should be 6 tiles away, such that the first monster is facing the second. Rinse and repeat until the bouncy network is complete. (I will create a demonstration video if this isn't clear enough.) [TRO51] Receive 9, Move 60 [Value: Bronze] Preconditions: One human, an enemy that can be lifted and doesn't explode(!) when thrown, and 9 monsters with a combined throw stat of 61 or more. Recommended: Whatever's necessary. Strategy: You'll be using an enemy to complete this one. Strategy is the same as it was for Receive 4, Move 20, but you'll be using more monsters to cover a much larger distance. You'll need Throw stats of 6 and 7 to attain this (raise any character's throw stat through Class World upgrades - select Throw Distance as the upgrade of choice).
