Walkthrough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.1 - Introduction +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The game starts out with you in a passenger airplane over the mid-atlantic in 1960. Your character tells you that his parents thought he was born to do great things. The plane then takes a dive in to the ocean and you wake up out of breathe deep in the water. You will reach the surface where you finally gain control and must now swim between the fire to reach the light house island. Head inside to the darkness as the large doors behind you close. Eventually the lights will come on and music will start to play. Wrap around either side of the circular balcony and head down the stairs as the lights come on. Go down the middle set and you will enter the lower room with a sort of metal pod above a water hole known as the Bathysphere. Get inside and pull the lever on the back wall to start the ride. The Bathysphere will descend in to the Mid-Atlantic and you will head down a long underwater tunnel. Soon a projector screen will slide up with a presentation, once it is finished it will reveal Rapture. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.2 - Welcome to Rapture +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As you head in to the Welcome Center you will hear over the shortwave radio on the side wall two people talking about the plane crash that just happened and that the sphere was bringing someone in to the city, you. Johnny is told to head over and get to you before the Splicer's do. Once you finally stop you will see Johnny as he gets killed by a woman, and then she attacks the sphere. Once the attack is over grab the shortwave radio. The second man over the radio is named Atlas, he tells you that he will help you get to higher ground. First you have to draw the Splicer out of hiding so he can deal with her. Head forward and to the left and go up the stairs to get the lights to turn on. Head left in this large room to see the Splicer on the other side of the rubble. As you move forward a robotic flying gun turret will attack the Splicer so you will be safe in this area. Pick up the wrench and smash through the rubble in the wall to move on. Watch out for the flaming couch as it flies down the stairs and then head up to the Lounge. Kill the Splicer that comes around the corner of the doorway just as you reach the top. There are two health items in the upper right corner on the table to get if you need them. Wrap around to the left and go up the stairs to the Plasmids area. Go to the Gatherer's Garden and take the Electro Bolt Power Up sitting outside the vending machine. Watch the cutscene and then with your Electro Plasmid equipped shock the door panel to open the tunnel door. Once you enter the tunnel a piece of the plane will come down and smash through the glass sending water in. Head forward and go through the piece of the plane to move around it and get to the other end of the tunnel. Don't worry about taking to long, as far as I can see there is no time limit to getting through the security door. You will enter another lounge area, search for items and kill off the Splicers that attack. You can use an easy fighting method by just using your electro plasmid and then hitting them with the wrench. Once you search all the trash cans and areas for items head through the door the Splicers broke through and head up the stairs. Enter through the middle door in to the elevator room. The door will close behind and something will smash the ceiling above making water rush in. The water will actually flood the room this time unlike in the tunnel. Head over to the left elevator and take it up to a higher floor. Atlas will tell you that his family got cut off from him due to Splicers and he would like you to go rescue them. You must head to Neptune's Bounty. Head to the right and kill the Splicer at the baby carriage, take the revolver out of it. Head in to Kashmir Restaurant to move on. Wrap around to see a Splicer man down the stairs pounding on the door to have his wife open the door for him to get in. Head down the stairs and kill him off, she will then open the door and wonder what happened to him. If she spots you she will come out shooting with her pistol, so take her out fast. Back in the kitchen you will find some money and health items. As you come back out head over to the pool of water with the Splicers walking around in it. Shock one of them to chain reaction the rest of them all at once and fry them. Search at the table on the right side of the pool and you will find an Audio Diary to play. Head back up the stairs and around the corner to find the restrooms. Head in to the womens restroom and watch a flashback that you can see for some reason with your new powers. Head to the back of the womens restroom and pick up the audio diary to listen to and on your way back watch out for the first stall as it opens revealing a Splicer. Enter the mens restroom and go to the end to find a hole in the wall leading in to the theater. Atlas tells you to lower your weapon for a minute and you can then proceed across the raftors. Looking down below you will see a little girl called the Little Sister. A Splicer will attack the Little Sister and she will scream for help. The large machine accompanying her is known as Big Daddy and shows off his strength killing the enemy. Break through the chain on the gate and move on to the next room. Check the corpse on the left and then head the other way past the Vita-Chamber to move on. Kill the Splicer with the pistol and enter the next room. Wrap around to the left and kill off three Splicers and you will see a Big Daddy killed under the rushing water. Search its body for a lot of money and then drop down to the floor below. Turn to the right and head for the door as the gate closes and Splicers rush the area. Kill them off and Atlas will eventually tell you to head through the Medical Pavilion gate on the opposite side, get through the gate to move on. Navigate through the halls to reach a square room with an air-locking door on your left. Once you step in to the room all the exits will seal and the lights will go out. A movie featuring Andrew Ryan will start to play. Once his video ends three Splicers start to smash the window the movie was behind. Atlas eventually gets the door open, step inside and then activate the next air-lock door to complete the level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.3 - Medical Pavilion +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 Little Sisters The air-lock door will open allowing you to move forward in to the Medical Pavilion. Go to the right and wrap around to the left to find a vending machine and a robotic flying gun turrret stuck in the door. You can hack the machine to have it fight along side you against the Splicers. In order to hack the robots you must click on all of the tiles to reveal the pipes you have to work with. Drag and drop the parts so the pipes connect the flow of liquid to each correct end. Once you have the pipes connected click increase flow near the bottom and you will successfully hack the robot. Head over to the counter under the stairs and take the audio diary off of it. Now head around to the back of the desk to gather any items laying around. Enter the door the robot was blocking and let the two Splicers attack each other until one of them dies, kill the other one. Now head up the stairs and activate the Emergency Access Controls. An alarm will go off as access is denied. The door behind you will open and Splicers will start to advance from downstairs. Head in to the doorway and go left. Get ready to fight a Splicer in this room at the end of the hall and then take the machine gun on the far wall. Activate the electrical override switch and head back down to the foyer by either busting out the glass and dropping or work your way down the stairs. Either way be prepared to fight off a wave of Splicers. Once they are all killed head up the main staircase and go inside the Medical Pavillion. When you head around the other side of the fountain another flashback will occur. If you have collected all the audio diaries so far you possibly can put two and two together and figure that the woman might be Diane McClintock. Activate the door control and move in to Surgery. Straight ahead is an audio diary for you to listen to. Head around to the left or right and shock the gun turret in the center. Run over to it and hack the turret as Splicers advance from behind the wall to attack. Watch out as there is also another turret behind the right wall that can shoot through a hole at you. Once it is shooting at the enemies you can run over to the hole in the wall and hack it as well. Kill off the Splicers and check the counter across from the first turret to get money and an audio diary. Look inside the Supply closet where the other turret is and check through everything to find health items and armor piercing bullets. Head in to the funeral room to kill the Splicer hiding out. Wrap back around to the middle room with the health machine and pick up the audio diary on the table. Heading north from this spot go in to the side room on the right and you will find a few vending machines. Don't forget to pick up the audio diary on the chair by the health vending machine. Now head downstairs to the dentistry area and go around to the right. Use your electro shock on the door control to open the door. Take the automatic hack tool off the table and head back upstairs. Now enter the Eternal Flame and watch the Splicer get blown away from the door. Now you must fight a Splicer with a grenade box. Use your guns on him from a distance and watch out for his smoke screens so he can make a get away. Once you kill him he will dump the rest of his grenades on himself to explode. Enter the room he came out of and turn to the left and grab the audio diary. Go through the door and Atlas will comment on the security cameras. Shock the camera and it will be disabled. Run over to it and hack the camera to have it search for Splicers. Head up the stairs and kill the Splicer up here. In the corner office you must crawl through the hole on the left of the door to get in to the room. As you enter the room Andrew Ryan will come over the loudspeaker telling everyone that there is an award out for your death. Take the Incinerate! plasmid and soon after Splicers will start to pound on the windows and door to try to get at you. Step back from the purple oil goo on the ground and ignite it to kill everyone with one blow. Head back down stairs and leave the Eternal Flame. Kill off the Splicer and incinerate the ice on the right side to enter another part of the funeral area. You can see the woman crying over the coffin through the window on the right side. Head around the corner and kill her, as she turns out to be a Splicer. Search around the table and floors to locate a few items and a piece of paper with the door code 0451. If you head over to the other side of the room you will find another Splicer hiding behind the coffin to attack you. Head around the coffin and gather the items, then duck as a turret is revealed behind the door back the way you came. Shock it and hack it. Behind the turret is a safe you can hack. Head through the middle door that is already unlocked and head to the left in to the water. You will see someone operating and as you approach the lights will go out. Soon afterwards the lights come back on as a door behind you closes. Head forward to find a new Plasmid that helps hacking turrets, guns, and cameras. Head back the way you came and kill the Splicer that pops out of one of the doors against the wall. Head over to the code door and unlock it with the code you found earlier (0451) and collect the items inside. Leave this area and head back down the stairs. Look in the ice straight ahead to see an audio diary laying on the ground. Melt the ice with your fire power and head inside to kill the Splicer straight ahead. Head in to the Kure All and run straight ahead as a rocket launcher robot fires at you. Turn right and kill the Splicer that comes through the door on your left and then fire an electro shock at the robot to get in and hack it. Head around the turret and collect the loose items on the ground and then run back around the other side through the door the Splicer came through to look around. Watch out for the security camera on the right side of this large room and hack it when you come close. Along the back wall you will find an audio diary to listen to. Along the side wall opposite the security camera you will find a grate you can hit out with the wrench, crawl inside. Hit the grate in to the next room and enter it, more Splicers will come in through the main entrance. Gather up all the items and take the new Plasmid Wrench Jockey which helps increase Wrench damage. Head back out through the little air ducts and kill the Splicer. Head out of Kure all and head across to the open room. Collect the ammo and the Shotgun in the center of the room and get ready for the gate behind you to close as Splicers surround you in the darkness and attack as you stand in the light. Kill them all off by using your Electric Shells and then head east over to Dandy Dental, hack the health station to the right of the door and then head over to the door and pick up the audio diary on the ground, enter the dental room. Check the counter for money and items and then enter the dental area. Wrap around to the right as you check the corpse and then go to the left to find a safe you can hack on the center wall. Explore the other side of the room as a Splicer comes in to the room, kill him. Pick up the audio diary on the ground by the controls to the tennis ball launcher and then take the Telekinesis Plasmid off the Gatherer's Garden machine. Leave the Dental office as another Splicer comes through. Go past Painless Dental and turn to the left.Climb up the boxes around the corner and go through the window. Take out or hack the gun turret on the back wall and then collect the items found in the room. Head inside the next room as it fills with fog and a Splicer runs past you. Head over to the back right corner to pick up the audio diary and another Plasmid. As you reach for them the room will fill with fog again and the Splicer will be right behind you, turn around and kill him. Grab the Plasmid for more time when you hack. Look along the wall just to the left and you will find a grate you can hit with the wrench. Enter the air duct and come out the other side to kill the Splicer. Take all the items and exit by pressing the switch on the door. Head back to Painless Dental and keep going around the corner to the locked door that requires a key. Look through the window with the corpse hanging through it and use Telekinesis to grab the key off the hanger straight ahead and take it. Unlock the door and enter, kill the Splicer inside before he can react. There is a security camera to your right so hack it quickly as a Nitro Splicer and another Splicer come to attack as well. In the back room is another security camera along the back wall guarding a safe you can hack. Leave Chompers Dental and go back up the stairs. Kill the Nitro Splicer as he comes down the stairs and go through the center door inbetween the stairs to move on. As you head through the water tunnel Steinman will start to talk and you will see a Little Sister with her Big Daddy walking through another tunnel off to the left. Enter the Surgical Foyer straight ahead as the other door is sealed. Wrap around the corner to see Dr. Steinman looking at the ground, but once he sees you he will run in to the hallway ahead and blow up the sign to prevent entry. With your Telekinesis grab a bomb from the Nitro Splicer on the balcony and throw it at the pile of rubble to clear a path. Next throw another grenade up at the Splicer and kill him. Enter the hallway and take the audio diary off the wall just to the right of the corpse. As you wrap around the corner Dr Steinman will send a flying gun turret after you and set up a stationary turret. If you still have your shocking bolt shock and hack them both, otherwise destroy them carefully. Pick up the Plasmid Static Discharge which allows you to hurt others when they melee attack you. Head through the door on the right and watch out for the security camera. Hack the safe and collect the items on the counter, then go around the other side of the center wall and get more items and an audio diary. Exit the operating room and continue forward. Enter the Viewing Rooms and watch Dr. Steinman work on someone as he cries over his failures. Soon he will see you watching him and pull out his machine gun to shoot you through the glass. Get out of the way and wait for him to run around to either one of the doors. When he comes through Incinerate him if you have it equipped and head in after him. Start shooting him as he burns up and light the oil on fire to help keep him steered to one side of the room. Once he is dead search his body and take the key and ammo off it. You can head downstairs to find more items and a safe to hack. Don't forget to search the corpse on the table for an audio diary. As you head through the Surgery Foyer more Splicers will rush you along with a hacked flying gun turret to help you. Head through them and get to the water tunnel. As you approach the door to the water tunnel part of the tunnel will collapse. Head in as a picture flashes on the screen. You can't head forward as usual, but this time the side door is opened. You can hear a Big Daddy along with the Little Sister wandering around again as well. The Big Daddy "Bouncer" will be thrown through the doorway and the Little Sister screams. Walk in to the doorway to watch a cutscene and learn about Harvesting and Rescuing the Little Sisters, whichever you pick influences the ending to your game. Straight across from where you are standing after you make the decision a Gatherer's Garden will appear as the wall lowers. Take the items around here and the audio diary. Buy any upgrades you would like to have and then continue through the center door to make it back outside the Medical Pavillion with the stairs leading down. Kill another Splicer lurking around and you will find another Big Daddy with a Little Sister wandering the Lounge. If you engage the Big Daddy to get at the Little Sister watch out for his long lunges. He will slam on the groundto stun you, this makes your character unable to jump high and move slow. Use your Plasmids and the Shotgun on him while running backwards to kill him off. Once you defeat him get to the Little Sister and choose to either Harvest or Rescue her. Leave the Lounge and get in to the Foyer to continue. Once you reach the main entrance to the Medical Pavillion a Nitro Splicer will see you and start to advance. Push your way forward and kill the Splicer. Make your way up the stairs and use the lever again to unlock the Emergency Access. Go through the door as Atlas tells you he's proud of you and wants to shake your hand. Search the crate and then enter the Bathysphere Lever, pull the lever to complete the level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.4 - Neptune's Bounty +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 Little Sisters (4 if you glitch, game tells you all Little Sisters weren't located might not be a good idea if going for achievements) Head up the steps and to the right and climb around the rubble to move in to the next tunnel section. You will see a Splicer's shadow ahead as a woman's voice booms. The splicer will jump through a hole in the ceiling as you get closer, continue on as you search the corpse. Hack the health machine and move on to the Lower Wharf. Head over to the other end of the board walk and you will see a Big Daddy with a Little Sister below to take down. Watch out, if you step down below you will have to face some turrets on either end under the board walk. Hack them or take them down to help against the Big Daddy. Now turn around and go underneath the boardwalk to locate items towards the door you first came through. Pick up the Medical Expert Plasmid and head south to go under the boardwalk on this end. Take out or hack the turret here if you haven't already. Pick up the audio diary behind the turret as well. You can wait around for another Big Daddy to spawn and walk all the way across the room to wake up a Little Sister from the hole in the far end and take them down if you wish, you can also get the third one this way. Head west to the Upper Wharf and kill off the Splicers. Now watch out for the rocket turret to your left and gather the prizes in the teddy bear if you rescued any Little Sisters by the Gatherer's Garden. Buy items at the Gatherer's Garden and Gene Bank. Jump down behind the vending machines through the open gate in to the water and shoot the security camera. Head around to the right and hack the gun turret to have it help fight along side you. Drop down below and make your way to the left to locate a hallway down below. Wrap over to the right and kill off any Splicer's that attack. You will reach a door with a keycode lock. Hack it and enter the room to grab an audio diary and a few items. Head back up to the top and take down or hack the missile launching turret if you haven't done so yet. Climb over the boxes of fish and enter Fontaine Fisheries. A female Splicers voice will be heard, walk around the pillar with the dead fisherman and hack the health station. Collect all the items off of the conveyor belt and then knock on the door. A man will check through the slot and tell you that you need to get a research camera for him before you can proceed. Just as he is telling you a Splicer will drop from the ceiling and attack. Hold off long enough and the man will send a gun turret down after her, as well as a grenade launcher for you to use on the conveyor belt. Head back the way you came and kill the Splicers down in the water. Head to the right of the vending machines and go through the now open gateway. Kill the Splicers and collect the items. Right before going up the stairs you can turn to the right and go underneath the floor to collect more items, along with an audio diary. Kill the Splicers on your way back out from underneath the floor. Head up the stairs and hack the health machine on your left. Wrap around and head upstairs to reach the Upper Wharf. You will also find another Big Daddy and Little Sister walking around in here as well to take down. From the door you first came through head straight across as you kill the Splicers and grab the audio diary off the table. Head north and search the corpse of the fisherman for an audio diary as well as the audio diary right next to him on the floor. This last audio diary talks about the Fighting McDonaghs room #7, code 7533. Shoot the chain on the gate and kill the Splicer that pops out. Head to the left and take down the security camera at the top of the first set of stairs. Grab the audio diary next to the vending machine and then head upstairs. Sneak up to the second security camera and hack it for back up against the Splicers. Head up the stairs to reach the Wharfmaster's Office. Do not go straight ahead as this is just an open view in to the office with a security camera watching it. Head to the right and run past the locked gate as a gun turret opens fire at you, it will most likely shoot the lock off the gate for you as well. Run inside and go for the right corner between the right hallway and the one straight ahead. This way you will avoid the gun turret straight ahead and the missile turret to the right. You will need to destroy the gun turret as there is another missile turret around the corner from it as well, along with a security camera above it. Use your new grenade launcher on the missile turret and security camera group, it will most likely destroy the camera but leave the turret at 50% health. Destroy the missile turret and head through the middle of the jail to collect items. Fire a few grenades over to the other missile launcher and work your way around to destroy the last gun turret in the opposite corner. Check the hole in the wall to the south east to collect more items. Now head to the other corner and crawl through the vent to reach another room. Watch out for the security camera as you crawl in so you don't set off the alarm. You can hack it by jumping while hitting the hack button to get it to show on your screen. Otherwise if needed, a bot shutdown is around the corner if you need it. Take the audio diary on the desk and then search around for items. Head back in to the jail and go in to the southern room and crawl through the hole in the wall. Use the Gene Bank if you need to and then collect the items around the first room. Wrap around the desk and head deeper in to the office. Head around the corner through the hallway and get over to the Interrogation Room. Take the items off the table as well as the Camera and take a picture of the Spider Splicer in the next room. Exit the room and kill the Splicer around the corner. Head to the far end of the room where the Gatherer's Garden vending machine fell over and go through the smashed window. Grab the Security Bullseye Power Up and then turn to the right. Grab the Shotgun and the ammo then drop to the ground. Kill the Splicer attacking the security camera and then take the audio diary out of the crate on the right. Crawl around the right side of the room and get over to the security camera to hack it. Head through the door and grab the audio diary straight ahead. Head through the water tunnel and crawl under the security camera as two Splicers come in for the attack. Quickly hack the security camera and then fend off the attackers. Take the audio diary off the bench underneath the security camera and continue down the tunnel. Turn right and head through the door. Kill off the two Splicers and take the audio diary off the table to the left of the door that you entered. Head through the door in the back room, go around the corner straight ahead and come back towards the door to avoid the security camera. Get out your camera and take a picture of the Spider Splicer that comes out. Kill the Splicer and then deal with the security camera, collect the items and head out to the water tunnel. Go straight across to the next room and enter through the door. Kill the two Splicers in front of you and then hack and use the vending machines on either side as needed. Go in to the water on the right side and enter the tunnel past the rejuvenation chamber. Look to the right as you enter and take the audio diary. Go through the ventilation shaft and come up through a grate and kill the Splicers. Destroy the security camera and collect the items in the room. Now go around the corner and head through the door on the right. Grab the audio diary on the table in the corner and go over to the side wall to the smaller office. You will find a hole in the wall on the side, fire a frag grenade in the hole off to the right side of the room to destroy the gun turret waiting for you. Collect the items and kill the Splicer that enters the office behind you. If you have the Electrobolt equipped you can shock the door lock and enter the bar from the rear, otherwise head back through the ventilation shaft and through the front door. Kill the two Splicers inside and take the audio diary off the table under the 123 sign near the front of the bar. Now head towards the back of the bar and look along the left side tables near the window to find another audio diary on the table. Head down in to the bathroom and kill the Nitro Splicer. You can pay to open the stalls and gather items inside them if you wish. Head up the stairs to the second floor and kill the Splicers. Head in to the only open door and hack the safe inside. Once you leave the room take a picture of the Spider Splicer and then kill all of the Splicers that attack. Shock the lock on door #6 and enter the hotel room and kill the Splicer on the other side of the toppled mattress. Immediatly turn around and kill the three Splicers that rush in and attack. Take the items in the room and grab the audio diary at the foot of the bed. Exit and hack the door code to room #7. Head over to the bed and grab the audio diary next to the corpse, wait for the diary to end and the television will shock the wall in the corner revealing a Plasmid for you to take. Head back downstairs and kill off all the Splicers, there is also a Big Daddy down here as well. He will summon the Little Sister out of the wall and you can get her if you wish. Head back through the water tunnel and re-enter the Upper Wharf. When you enter the first room after the hallway kill the Nitro Splicer above in the office room and the Splicer straight ahead. Turn left and go through the door to head down the stairs. Head back to Fontaine Fisheries and kill the Spider Splicer on your way through to show him the pictures. Grab the Plasmid on the side and then head back to talk to Peach, knock on the door again and then enter when it opens. Melt the ice and take the Plasmid that was previously stuck. Place all your weapons in the Pneumatic Tube and then enter the second door. Head around the corner to the right and enter the large room as the gate drops and fog rolls in. Splicers will jump you. Head straight ahead as a Nitro Splicer attacks from your left. Head along the right side and get around the frozen doors, you can unfreeze these if you have the Incinerate Plasmid. Hack the security camera on the wall and then get over to the corner to make it down the stairs and pick up all your weapons out of the Pneumatic Tube. Head downstairs and use the weapon upgrade machine to upgrade one of your weapons. Unfreeze the ice on the left door and kill the Splicers waiting inside, take the audio diary against the wall. Hack the safe and then exit the room to unfreeze the opposite door. As you go through this room two ghosts appear and start to talk. Unfreeze the ice in the back corner to find the secret passage. Head through the tunnel to exit the level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.5 - Smugglers' Hideout +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0 Little Sisters Head down the tunnel and once you go through the leaking water images of people will pop up on the screen. Head through the tunnel and around to the left to find a ramp leading up. Fire electroshock at the turret and hack it or fire a grenade at it to destroy it. Grab the audio diary next to it against the crates and head down the path on the other side. As you head around the corner in the tunnel Atlas will tell you to press the switch so he can shake your hand and then Ryan will come on and tell you not to press it. Crawl through the hole in the wall and navigate ahead over the rubble to reach a gate with a lock on it. Hit it with your wrench and enter the next room. Flip the switch to the controls for the submarine and both doors will shut on you. Ryan comes over the radio to tell you to look above Atlas as Spider Splicers head in to take him out. Atlas tells you to now head over to the submarine yourself and save his family and meet up with him later on. Head through the next door once it re-opens and turn left. Kill the Spider Splicer that rushes you and then the group of Splicers that come up the stairs ahead. Hack the health machine and move on. Go forward and then turn left to descend more stairs as Atlas tells you to get out of there if you can and you will regroup later. Break in to the cage on the right side just before entering the room with the submarine and grab the items along with the audio diary. As you head towards the submarine you will hear Atlas' wife scream as the sub explodes and Splicers attack. Take them down and move on to the next room. Right when you enter the hallway grab the audio diary on the left next to the crate. Head down the suspended bridge and enter Arcadia. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.6 - Arcadia +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 Little Sisters Head forward and gather any items in the crates that you come across. Crawl under the pipe and head up the stairs. Hit the chain off the door and enter The Tea Garden. Head straight across to the other side of the garden and use Incinerate if you have it. Light the torch on the right side of the door to make it open and enter. Grab all the parts inside and leave the room the way you came. Head over to the other half of the garden and go to the left for some items. Pick up the audio diary and head forward to watch a ghost go through the door on the left. Head north in to the Arcadia Glens on the left most door and watch two ghosts on the bench. Pick up the audio diary and head east to the other wall and grab the audio diary off the ground by the chairs. Head back in to the main garden area and then go through the far eastern door to move on. A Splicer will see you and run off to the side as you go through. Looking down the first right hallway you will see the shadow of a man ahead. Forget the first hall and turn in to the second right to see a man calling for help. He will vanish and appear behind you and run off. Head in to the water of the circular room and take the grenade launcher and ammo as needed. Head back to the first hallway and head over to the back right corner to see a twig mask. As you get up close to it a Splicer appears behind you and screams. Turn around to see him explode in to a bunch of reddish black particles and the mask will be gone. Head back around the corner as the Splicer heads up the stairs. Go up after him to find out he's a Houdini Splicer that can teleport around the room. Head inside the room and prepare for a battle. Watch where the ghostly trail moves to track him down and fire in the direction he is headed to get him once he appears. He will throw two fireballs at you and then move again so step out of the way, move and fire. In the wall closest to the stairs you came up is a crawlspace door you can open and crawl through to get some more items. As you head around in here another Splicer will enter the room. Head back in to the main room and kill him. Take the audio diary off the table next to the Gene Bank. Enter the door leading to Rapture Metro and kill the Splicers on the bridge and the one in the balcony to your right. As you cross the bridge head through the door and run straight ahead attacking the Splicers. Avoid the gun turret in the right corner of the room as you enter and head around to either destroy it or shock it and hack. In the back right corner you can locate a crawlspace door to slide open and hack the safe inside the room. Gather up the items and you can head in to the next room to take down a Splicer and use your electroshock plasmid to short the electric wires. Collect the items and then head in to the main room again. Head down the stairs and go to the back right, there may or may not be Splicers down here. Follow the signs to the Metro and enter the Arcadia Glens. Kill off the Splicer if she doesn't die from fire already and then head to the right to find a U-Invent machine. Head the opposite way and you can take down another Splicer and a Big Daddy with a Little Sister. In the corner you will find a Gatherer's Market you can buy a few items at if you wish. Enter Waterfall Grotto and take the audio diary off the bench. Head around the corner to the right of the room and go downstairs to the lower level with the water wheel. Make your way down killing off the Splicer, Security Camera, and hacking the turret guns. Get in the water and grab the audio diary against the back wall and then the other audio diary over by the water wheel. Head through the tunnel away from the water wheel and shock the flame thrower turret to your right as you enter the next room and hack it. Head back out to the water wheel and go upstairs. Shock the door on your way up and go inside the storage room to get an audio diary. Head back out to the main hall and turn left to enter the Rolling Hills. Kill the Splicer down a ways and watch out for the missile turret on the lower left side. Head further down and grab the audio diary on the bench just before going down the stairs. A Big Daddy will head up the stairs and walk over to the port hole to get a Little Sister out that you can get to if you wish. Head down the stairs and enter the lower rolling hills. As you head towards the doorway the airlocks will close and Ryan will send in a chemical to start killing off the plants. Atlas will tell you to find Julie Langford, the one that planted all the trees. Head east past the stairs you came down and a Splicer will light the straw people on fire as he runs away. Head in to the cave and pick up the audio diary on the right. Kill the Houdini Splicer and head west to the Research Laboratories. Enter the water tunnel and Julie Langford will talk to you through the television screen and ask you to get a sample of Rosa gallica back in Waterfall Grotto. Head back through the area killing off the Splicers as they attack. You can now enter the Tree Farm and look straight ahead against the crate for an audio diary. Head through the Tree Farm and kill the Splicer and wrap around to the left. Upgrade a weapon at the weapon upgrade station and head further in to kill off a Houdini Splicer for later. Head back out of the Tree Farm and go to the Waterfall Grotto. Get all the way down to the bottom and pick a rose by the water wheel. Head back up the stairs and kill off the Splicers as they come to stop you. Head back to Rolling Hills and enter the research facility again. Drop the rose in the Pneumo Tube and enter Langford Labs. Take the Plasmid on the desk and then get the audio diary in the right corner on the floor. Wrap around the hall and Langford will come over the intercom again to tell you that she hacked the security so it won't hurt you. You have roughly two minutes to make it up to her room safely. Pick up the audio diary on the desk and then head around to the right. Go over to the air lock door and head through the water tunnel up the stairs to meet up with Dr. Langford. As you approach the door Ryan will kill off Dr. Langford and she will write on the window a code "9457" right before dying. Search her body for an audio diary and pick up the Chemical Thrower off the table. Head over to the Botanical Picture in the back of the room and search it to locate a safe. Head out of the office and get back to the Farmer's Market, watch out for the Splicers, gun turrets, and security cameras along the way. Head over to the Tree Farm and work your way to the back to find the entrance to the Farmer's Market. Pick up the audio diary on the steps as you head through the gates that were previously closed. As you enter the airlock chamber a few images will flash on the screen. Head inside the airlock door to proceed to the Farmer's Market. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.7 - Farmer's Market +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 Little Sister Head forward and search the body for your first Enzyme component that you need and take the audio diary on the ground next to the corpse as well. Go through the door and enter the water tunnel to reach the market. Head down the stairs and kill the Houdini Splicer and the Spider Splicer hiding around the first stall. Watch out for the missile turret on the right and hack it to help you. Head down the stairs and kill the Splicers around the corner. Go in to the market area and kill off the advancing three Splicers that come to attack. Behind the counter go inside the employees only room with the dead Big Daddy. Take the audio diary off the ground and search around for items and grab the other audio diary off the desk in the back left. Head in to the next room next to the previous and kill the Splicer inside. Take the distilled water off the desk and move on to the code locked door. Hack the coded door and enter to gather items. Now head up the stairs and enter the store on the right. Crawl across the floor and collect the items to avoid the security camera. You will find a crawlspace on the other side of the store for you to enter with an audio diary. Climb the boxes and go through the grate to the other freezer and drop in to the water. Crawl through the crawlspace and hack the camera and safe on the other side. You will now find a few Splicers and a Big Daddy with the Little Sister. Head towards the Worley Winery off to the right and turn left just before the sign. Enter the first door and shock the gun turret in this room to hack it. Hack the safe and pick up the audio diary on the end corner of the counter outside this stall. Head back over to the gun turret and climb the fallen beam. Carefully make your way around the beam to reach the opposite side and you will find a crawlspace containing a small room with two Automatic Hack tools and a few proximity mines. Watch out for more splicers to come and attack from below, the gun turret should take care of most of them, if not all of them. Head back to the Worley Winery hallway and take the second Distilled Water on the ground along with the audio diary. Enter the water tunnel and go to the Silverwing Apiary. Kill the Splicer straight ahead and take the audio diary off the front counter. Head through the door after buying from the Gatherer's Garden if needed. Enter the back room and activate the smoker control switch to make the bee's head back in to there hives to buy yourself some time to head in to the large room. Quickly search a few bee hives for the Enzyme component's and watch out for the waves of Splicers to come rushing in. Once you find the rest of the Enzyme component's leave Silverwing Apiary and head over to the Winery. Go around one of the sides and take out or shock and hack both the gun turret and the security camera on the wall by the counter. Hack the safe and get the Distilled Water out of it and grab the Distilled Water on the ground. Go over to the other side of the room by the tables and pick up the audio diary on the table. Head downstairs and jump on the barrel to jump in the air as you grab the Distilled Water on the beam. Go down the rest of the stairs and wrap around to the left to see a barrel roll from a Splicer kicking it. Head through the hallway and start killing off the Splicers as they come. Pick up the Distilled Water jugs as you walk around and you will find plenty of them everywhere. Go downstairs and straight ahead to the water to find a Weapon Upgrade Station. Exit the water and head left in to another water area to find some jugs and wrap over to the right. Pass the gene bank and enter the little building. Once you grab the Plasmid three electric wires will trap (or at least slow you down) you and some Splicers will attack from outside. Head back upstairs once you collect all the jugs and then get to a U-invent station near the entrance to Arcadia. Once you have the vector created head back to Langford's office in Arcadia. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.8 - Back to Arcadia +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As you head out of the air lock chamber Ryan will talk to you and then send a lot of flying gun turret's after you. You can either get back in to the air lock and take them down as they come in or make a run for it as you shoot them down. Head back to Langford's Office and kill the Splicer inside the office. Administer the Vector to the machine up by the window and Ryan will send some Splicers after you. Atlas tells you to head back downstairs to the lab and seal up the door to wait out the time it takes for the medicine to take effect. Kill the Splicer that bursts through a sealed door on your way to the lab and then flip the switch as the Splicers make it towards the door. They will immediatly start to cut through the door, wait for them to cut through or head back a bit to get an edge on them as they come in to attack by placing some Proximity Mines. You must head through the lab and wait for the Vector to become ready. Once ready the air lock to the office will open and allow you to hit the switch. Run upstairs and hit the switch to save the trees and unlock all the doors again. Head back out of the lab and turn left to finally make it to Rapture Metro. As you enter the Metro turn to the right and pick up the audio diary. Head straight to the Bathysphere and pull the switch to finish the level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.9 - Fort Frolic +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 Little Sisters Head forward and go through the air lock door to the Hephaestus. Get over to the Bathysphere as it descends and the gates lock, head back the way you came. As you re-enter the room now has electrified wire and Spider Splicers all over the ceiling. Kill them all off and then head to the left as the doors open allowing you in further. Enter the Atrium and head south around the back wall and hack the security camera above the vending machine. Head in to the southern room and take down the Splicers. Grab the audio diary on the table by the chairs. The womens restroom has a gun turret to hack and a few items to pick up. The Mens restroom has nothing of interest. Head west and enter the clothing store. Take an immediate left and hack the safe behind the fallen painting. Head around in to the back room to pick up an audio diary behind the white statue. Head across from Sophia's Salon and enter the left door in to the cocktail lounge behind the counter. Hack the safe under the counter and then take the audio diary. Jump the counter and hack the security camera. Head west down the hallway and as you approach near the hole where the Little Sisters come out a Houdini Splicer will attack behind you. Enter the Le Marquis D'Epoque store and hack the gun turret in the back of the store. Head downstairs and upgrade a weapon at the weapon upgrade machine and then take the audio diary by the corpse. A Houdini Splicer will most likely attack at this point. Head back out and go go back to the Atrium, make it over to the east steps and ascend to the Upper Atrium. Head north to locate a Gatherer's Garden with upgrades to your powers and more. Head south and enter the southern room, go behind the wall and turn right to find an audio diary. Head up the stairs and take down the gun turret and then hack open the safes. As you open some of the safes a Houdini Splicer will attack you. Head back down and continue west to Fleet Hall, before you enter it head through the open entranceway to the center of the Atrium and look next to the toppled ashtray to pick up an audio diary. Head in to Fleet Hall and go around either side to hack the security camera. Go up the stairs on the right side and take the items and audio diary on the floor just as you walk in. Head back down the stairs and take the elevator straight across to reach the piano practice room. Enter through the glass door towards the piano player. Watch as the pianist explodes and then head up to the stage to take a picture of the body as Cohen orders. Head up the stairs and go to the right through the previously closed gate. Go through the second to last door on the right and get on the ledge to jump to the next ledge to find a plasmid waiting for you. As you pick it up watch out for the Houdini Splicer that comes in to the room behind you. Head down the stairs and towards the entrance to the theater. Watch the left side and shock both the gun turrets to hack them. Walk around the counter and bookcase to locate a safe to crack. Leave Fleet Hall and enter the main Atrium room. Descend the stairs and approach Cohen's masterpiece. Place the photo on the frame and then take the Crossbow on the right side as a gift from Cohen. He now wants you to go kill Martin Finnegan for his masterpiece now. Head back up the stairs and go east to Poseidon Plaza as it is now unlocked. Enter the ice tunnels and use Incinerate on the left side to unthaw an audio diary. Head in to the next room and turn left. As you head forward you will be frozen like the rest of the Splicers and one of the three men will come over to you. He places you at the end of this hall and you will eventually unthaw. Head back towards the entrance of the hall and start battling him. Dodge his ice attacks by going behind pillars and shooting him in between moves. Once you defeat him head back to the masterpiece and place the second photo on the frames. Another gift will come up wrapped in a present, take the items out of it and then kill the Spider Splicer that attacks on your right side. Head back up the stairs and enter Poseidon Plaza again. Continue past the previous side hall and melt the ice with Incinerate to open the next door to enter the plaza. Kill off all the Spider Splicers as a Big Daddy comes walking through. Enter Sir Prize and kill off all the Splicers inside. Go behind the counter to find a safe to crack and then grab the audio diary to the left of the stairs. Head back out the first floor door and by this time the Big Daddy most likely will be coming back with a Little Sister if you want to attack it. Head south down the hall and enter Sinclair Spirits. Hack the security camera in the upper right corner and then go behind the counter to press a switch, this opens the door straigt ahead. Enter the newly opened door and go downstairs to find a weapon upgrade machine and a safe to crack. Turn around once you use the machine to kill the Spider Splicer in the plastor that was sitting in the chair. Leave Sinclair Spirits and kill off any Spider Splicers that attack. By now another Big Daddy should have a Little Sister come through the area for you if you got the previous one. Head east down the hall and enter Robertson's Tobaccoria and take the audio diary off the coffee table. Hack the code lock on the door and then hack the security camera inside. You can find money on the ground by the corpse, this triggers Splicers to come attack, if you have hacked all the security cameras up till now they will alert you. Head out of here and enter Eve's Garden as you see another ghost image appear on the stage. Get up on the stage and head down the steps to see another ghost image and then wrap around the corner to hear the ghost in the next room. As you enter the room the picture of three people will flash on the screen focusing on the woman. Hack the safe in the corner and take the audio diary from underneath the bed. As you leave the room the next man you must kill is yelling for service at the bar, go and kill him. He most likely will take off running around the entire level as he drops dynamite behind him. Chase him down as you shoot him to finally kill him off. Take his picture and return it to the masterpiece. Cohen will get angry since he sees you don't seem to enjoy it and sends a bunch of Splicers your way as the music picks up. Take them all down and head back to Poseidon. Head back to Eve's Garden and take the audio diary off the bar counter. Head up the stairs through the door to the left of the stage and leave Eve's Garden. Hack the gun turrets right outside the door on both sides and head down the hall to get the third Little Sister from the Big Daddy wandering around. Enter the Pharaoh's Fortune Casino and jump over the counter to hack the safe in the wall. Head up the stairs and avoid the security camera, get under it and hack it. Go over to the pool table and take the audio diary off it and head back out. Head north and enter Rapture Records and look behind the counter for an audio diary. Drop in to the pit and back away from the center area as a bomb goes off with the corpse in the chair. The third man will send in flaming Splicers from the ceiling to attack you. Kill them off and then head to the back left corner of the room to find a ventilation shaft for you to crawl in to. Head back up the shaft and attack him as he comes back in to the door. Once you kill him off take his picture and then head back to the masterpiece again to place the final photo on it. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\IMPORTANT: DO NOT KILL COHEN\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Once you place the final photo on the masterpiece Cohen will come downstairs to look at it. He then tells you that the sphere is ready for you and then will walk behind the stairs to open the cage on the right for you to get another plasmid. He however leaves the other cage still chained up for a later use. Head back to the projection booth in Fleet Hall by going up the stairs opposite the elevator and enter the booth around the corner that was previously locked. Take the plasmid off the shelf and the audio diary off the table. Head back to the Bathysphere and get inside to descend to the next level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.10 - Hephaestus +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 Little Sisters Head around the water tunnel to the left to find a corpse with a shotgun in its lap. Kill the two Splicers around the corner as you make your way in to Hephaestus. Head down the ramp as Ryan talks to you through the radio and enter the next room. A Splicer will walk in from the door on the right and open fire if he sees you. Go to the back of the room and hack the gun turret waiting around the corner. Now go to the back left corner by the Circus of Values vending machine and search the crate for an audio diary. Head through the door and turn left to reach the Vita-Chamber, check the floor for another audio diary. Go over to the central table to hear a Splicer talk and then take the grenade launcher off the table. Soon more ammo will drop down along with three Spider Splicers, take them down. Head around the left side as the right has been blocked by a cave-in. Avoid the security camera and get underneath it to hack by jumping up at it. Head through the door under the security camera and hack the health machine in case any Splicers get to it in the future. Enter the next room as Ryan talks to you over the radio again. Search the first corpse on the right wall for an audio diary. Now search the third corpse on the right wall for an audio diary. Once you listen to it Ryan will come over the radio as some Splicers cut through the door to the Core. Kill off all the attacking Splicers and then enter the room to the south. Take the plasmid on the desk and the audio diary on the other. Look underneath the desk that the audio diary was on for a safe you can crack. Now head through the Hephaestus Core door that the Splicers cut through. Kill the Splicers that are hanging around the room with a dead Big Daddy. Enter the Hephaestus Core door and go through the water tunnel. Enter the Core and go through the door on the left to find a Splicer attacking a Big Daddy with a Little Sister. Head around to the right on the upper floor and you will find an audio diary on the ground. Look over the balcony and take out the security camera below. Go downstairs and head down the stairs, wrap around to the left and make your way over to the monitor on the right side to find an audio diary. Head past the workshops entrance and the stairs to find a hole in the cave wall with a safe you can hack. Enter the Workshops and you will find another Big Daddy with a Little Sister. Head south and take down the Splicers and the gun turret. Look along the left side for a safe you can hack. Back track a bit and head down the stairs. Head straight down the stairs in to the office room and take the audio diary off the desk. In the upper right corner you can move or shoot the gas tanks and hop in to the ventilation shaft to move around the turrets. Head straight across to the next room and hack the health station. Head up the raised section and go behind the shelf to find a crawlspace on the ground. Crawl through to find a secret room with a large EMP bomb and an audio diary on the table behind it. Exit the crawlspace and search the Big Daddy corpse in the left corner for one of the four R-34 Wire Clusters. Head around the corner and take down the Splicers. Run around the corner and shock the gun turrets to hack them. Now hack the key code lock and enter the office. Navigate through the electrical wire traps and get to the back half of the office to locate an audio diary and a weapon upgrade station. Look on the side of the desk and press the button to open the glass on the wall to grab the Nitroglycerin. Immediatly squeeze against the wall and shock the gun turret that appears towards the front of the office. By this time another Big Daddy with a Little Sister will be walking around the area. Take the Big Daddy down and search the corpse for more R-34 Wire Clusters. Head over to the left wall right next to the ledge leading to the office and you will find a crawlspace to open. Head inside it and you will find an audio diary. Head back upstairs and go to the south end of the workshop to pick up the Quarter Can of Ionic Gel on the desk. Leave the workshops and head to the right heading down more stairs. Take the Quarter Can of Ionic Gel on the machine. If a Big Daddy is near take him down to get another R-34 Wire Cluster. Continue down the stairs and pass the Geothermal Control room. Take the audio diary next to the Gatherer's Garden and then use the weapon upgrade machine. Enter Heat Loss Monitoring and as you head forward the power will go out as the air lock door seals behind you. As you head forward the power will go out again, continue forth and the bodies on the ground will get up and attack you. Kill them all off and Ryan will talk to you over the radio as you enter the next room. Head to the back right corner and pick up the audio diary on the ground. Head down the stairs in the back middle section to get attacked by the Splicer playing dead. Kill the other Splicers in the area and then look on the left side for another ghost encounter. Hack the electrical current breaker to stop the electricity below. Head below and take the audio diary off the desk. Head across the room and go down the stairs to find a plasmid and another audio diary. Leave the Heat Loss Monitoring and turn right to pass the stairs leading up. Head downstairs and kill the Spider Splicer walking around. Grab the audio diary on the desk and head back up the stairs two flights. By this time you should have all the components you need to place in to the bomb so head back through the Workshops to the secret crawlspace. Once all the parts are in place take the huge bomb off the desk and head out of the Workshops killing the Splicers along the way. Head to the right and enter the Geothermal Control room. Kill off the Splicer and head to the back room as Atlas instructs. Set up some proximity mines around the area and then turn the valve. As the enemies come through the door and blow up the mines replace them with some more. Continue to hold the valve periodically checking on the mines until the lava finally flows. Once its done and Atlas talks, head in to the elevator and go down below towards the core. Continue forth and Ryan will trigger a memory on the picture as it flashes on the screen. Continue down the path and pick up the plasmid as you move on. Get on the lift and activate the control to reach the core cotrols. Place the EMP Bomb on the machine and leave the lift. The EMP Bomb will go off and the power will go out as the alarm goes off. Quickly head back to Central Control and throw the breaker at Ryan's office door. Head in to the door and leave the level to the Bulkhead to Rapture Control. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.11 - Rapture Central Control +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0 Little Sisters As you head forward Ryan will talk to you on the radio and then set the core to self-destruct. Turn left and takethe audio diary off the table next to the Vita-Chamber. As you head towards Ryan's office door go up the stairs on the left side as the door is sealed. Crawl through the ventilation shaft and drop in to the room below. Take the two audio diaries off the table and then head through the door on the right. Turn left and head up the stairs to enter Ryan's office. Ryan will talk to you through a window and shed some truth to what happened to the plane and who you are. Head in to the office and watch the cut scene. Take the key you get and head in to the office and turn right. Enter the office and put the key in to the slot and the door behind you will close. More is revealed in the story and Fontaine will send flying gun turrets to kill you. If you rescued some Little Sisters they will show you where to go, leave the small room and turn left to get out of the office. Head straight ahead in to the dark corner to find a ventilation shaft you can crawl through. As you crawl you will fall down in to the next level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.12 - Olympus Heights +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 Little Sisters Head upstairs as the former Little Sisters instruct and leave the Safehouse. Go to the far right corner of the sewers as Fontaine talks to you over the radio. He will activate a "Code Yellow" and your body will start to slowly die on you. Grab the valve wheel and place it in the slot by the door to open it. Head up the ramp and kill the Splicers by the crashed train. Look inside the train car for a safe for you to crack. Head the opposite direction and enter the Bistro as you take down a gun turret. Head around to the left and hack the second gun turret, the right side has a security camera. There is a Big Daddy in this section, make sure he has the Little Sister with him before you attack. Splicers will also start to come out and attack you. Head in to the center bar area and find an audio diary. Head north up the street and attack the Splicers that attack as you enter Mercury Suites. Hack the security camera and head further in to the suites. In the central area you will find a Big Daddy and a Little Sister wandering around, most likely fighting off some Splicers. Head in to Suchong's Apartment on the west side of the square. Go in to the southern room and kill the Splicer wandering around in here, you will also find an audio diary behind the make-shift barrier. There is a Splicer in the kitchen to the north as well for you to kill. Head west deeper in to the apartment and get in to the water. Turn left and enter the library to find another audio diary on the desk along with a Plasmid for your use. You will learn that there is an antidote for your "brain washing" and soon after the diary ends a Big Daddy along with a Splicer will come in to the room and attack you. Take them down and watch out as you leave, there is a missile turret to the left in the main room. On the opposite side of the elevator you will find a weapon upgrade machine. Head to the north apartment and enter A. Culpepper's Apartment. Head toward the back of the room and take the audio diary off the table on the right as you enter the second room. There are just items and Splicers to deal with through the rest of the apartment, so leave once you find everything you want. If you didn't kill Cohen earlier than you can enter his apartment on the east side of the main room. There is a Splicer pretending to be dead in the northern room. In the eastern room you will find two Splicers dancing to the music as Cohen tells you not to disturb them. Search the area for any more items you may find useful and then either play the piano or take the ammo off the table from underneath the music player. The two Houdini Splicers will then get pissed off at you and attack. Once you have killed them both Cohen will get angry and come downstairs from the door near the kitchen hallway and attack you. He has the teleporting power of a Houdini fire Splicer and moves slightly faster. Once you kill him you can get his Muse Key off him which is used back at the theater in his special locked box he wouldn't open for you earlier. Head up the stairs to where he was previously to find a weapon upgrade machine and a few other items. Since the elevator in the middle of the apartment complex is locked with a keycode and can't be hacked head up the ramp next to it. On the second floor you can go through the east Abandoned Apartment and kill the Splicer inside. In the back left room you will find a safe you can crack. Head up to the third floor and take down or hack the security camera at the top of the ramp. Head around to the right as the left is blocked by a make-shift barricade. Head past the apartment on the east side as this just has Splicers in it and nothing important. As you head around the balcony and pass the U-invent there will be an audio diary on a crate next to the railing. It will tell you that the code is "5744" so you can access Fontaine's Apartment. Head around the corner and enter Tenenbaum's Apartment through the hole in the wall. Head to the back of her apartment and you will find a Splicer tearing the place up, kill him and enter the room to have Dr. Tenenbaum tell you that the antidote is probably at Fontaine's place. Head back downstairs to the elevator and use the code "5744" on it to access Fontaine's Apartment. Head upstairs in the elevator and kill off the Splicers and either hack or destroy the security camera and gun turret. Head inside Fontaine's Apartment and go in to the room on the left to find an audio diary on the table. Head up the stairs in the main room and go left in to the bedroom. Locate the door on the left wall as you enter the bedroom and head through it. Disable the trap wires and take the plasmid on the table along with the Lot 192 on the other table. Once you take the Lot 192 you will have side effects of your plasmids randomly changing to something different every few minutes. You must locate another dosage of the antidote to get rid of the side effects. Leave the apartment and head out of Mercury Apartments. Go all the way down the path and make it over to the entrance of Apollo Square. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.13 - Apollo Square +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 Little Sisters As you exit the air lock chamber turn left and head up the stairs. Look on the left side for an audio diary. Continue through the gates and head forward to find a Big Daddy and a Little Sister as they get ambushed by a few Splicers. Push south and you will enter Apollo Square where you will find Splicers and another Big Daddy with a Little Sister. Go west over to all the vending machines and you will find an audio diary on the ground. Now go across the square east to reach Artemis Suites. Kill the Splicer and the gun turret ahead and move on to locate the security camera right on the edge of the middle ledge ahead, hack it for future use if you like or destroy it. Climb down and kill the two Splicers that are pretending to be dead. Head in to the lobby of Artemis Suites and kill the Splicer standing around. Get around the security camera and hack it. Watch out as a Splicer comes down the side stairs looking for you and take him down. Head up the side staircase and wait until you have electric shock powers and then enter Dr. Suchong's Free Clinic. Immediatly turn to your left and shock the security camera so you can hack it. Head around the corner from the security camera and quickly shock and hack the gun turret. In the east room there is a few items and a Splicer that is pretending to be dead. Head east past the padlocked door and enter the last door on the right. On the floor by the corpse is an audio diary and then take the Lot 192 antidote on the counter to finally be free of the "brain washing". If you head up to the third floor you will have to disable or hack a missile turret and fight a half dozen Splicers that are pretending to be dead for a safe you can hack in the room used to develop film. Leave Artemis Suites and get back to Apollo Square to head south. As you enter square four Splicers will attack at once, take them all down and proceed. As you head south kill the Splicer and hack the security camera on the left wall to ensure a safe passage. As you head south kill off the Splicers and a group of ghosts will be over by the far green building listening to another ghost speak out about Ryan. Pass the Bathysphere and head further south to the Hestia Chambers. As you enter shock the missile turret on the balcony above and rush the stairs to hack it as Splicers come pouring down. Head back downstairs and enter the little make-shift shelter to search the steamer trunk and take the audio diary out of it. Enter the second floor apartment and wind your way around the building to locate the stairs leading in to the boiler room. Down here you will find a Splicer, a few items, and a U-Invent machine. Nothing is really on the third floor except four Splicers so head up to the fifth floor since all the doors are sealed shut on the fourth. Turn to the left and bust down the wood planks to drop down in to the fourth floor from above. Kill the Splicer laying in the water and collect the items in the room. Jump out the window and then head back up to the fifth floor and this time head to the right to enter Atlas' Headquarters. Kill the Splicers upstairs and then in the left corner you can use Telekinesis to grab all the weapons in the armory since the door is jammed. Head around the corner and hack the security camera above the stairs and then head down. As you head downstairs some Splicers will start to rush the place coming up from the first floor. Use the weapon Upgrade machine on the wall and then head around the corner to find a plasma and an audio diary on the desk. Check the corpse smashed in to the desk, most likely McClintock, for another audio diary and then hack the safe in the corner. Drop down the hole or head back up the stairs and leave Hestia Chambers. Go to the Bathysphere by riding the elevator down as Fontaine tells you that you are being double crossed by your good friend the doctor as well. Kill off the Splicers and step aboard the bathysphere. If you got the Muse key from Cohen earlier and are in need of a little ammo and items than first head back to Fort Frolic. Enter the Atrium and turn to the right to unlock your prize, its nothing much. After that head to Point Prometheus. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.14 - Point Prometheus +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 Little Sisters As your Bathysphere raises Fontaine will be at the top showing off his power. Head after him like Dr. Tenenbaum tells you to do. Wait for the fire to burn out and then run down the glass tunnel to find the door sealed on the other side. Fontaine will activate two flying gun turrets as they shoot the glass and chase after you. Take them down with either Shock and hack them or just destroy them. Enter the Main Hall Atrium as Fontaine heads right in to an elevator and locks you out. Dr. Tenenbaum thinks of how you can get to him and tells you to search Big Daddy corpses. Head straight ahead and search the corpse for a Control System and then wrap around the corner to upgrade your weapon at the Weapon Upgrade machine. Head east in to the Little Wonders Educational Facility and climb on the box to go through the window and take down the two gun turrets. A Big Daddy will enter the room and pound on the wall to get a Little Sister out. Head to Autopsy and shock the security camera as you enter straight ahead. Head to the back of the room and you will see a ghost in the back left corner of a Little Sister. Grab the plasmid and the Big Daddy Pheromone Sample. As you are back here a Splicer will come through the door to attack. Head along the north side and go up the stairs as you go along the north side upstairs you will find another Big Daddy Pheromone Sample. On the next table up you will find an audio diary to listen to. Wrap around to the other side of the balcony to find more Big Daddy Pheromone Samples. Head west to reach the Main Hall balcony and go north to the Optimized Eugenics section. Dr. Tenenbaum states that this is where you will get a voice changer to sound like a Big Daddy. Melt the ice on the door to the storage room and search the ash trays and you will find an audio diary. Head inside the Eugenics through the door on the right as you enter a decontamination room. The doors will open allowing you passage inside, shock and hack the security camera straight ahead. Go in to the Live Subject Testing room on the right and wrap around to the control room to locate the voicebox changer. Fontaine will come over the radio and tell you that your a fool for doing this and that you will not be able to change back. Activate the voicebox changer and take the plasmid on the file cabinet, then leave the room as Fontaine talks to you again and three Splicers that entered the room while you were busy get up off the floor. Enter the Plasmid Prototyping and kill the Spider Splicer inside. Shock and hack the turret in the corner and then pick up the audio diary on the ground next to the corpse by the stairs to find out a code to a door near the Protector Labs is "1921". Enter Eugenic Analysis and hack the two turrets around the corner. Inside you will find a safe to hack and a weapon upgrade machine. Now enter Test Subject Storage and kill off the Splicers inside. As you entered the room look to the right to see an audio diary on top of the machine. Head in to the southern room and go out the side door to sneak up on the security camera on the right. Leave the Optimized Eugenics and go to the south west room to enter the library. Hack the security camera on the right and then hack the missile turret around the corner. Head in further and kill the Houdini Splicer in the center of the library counter. Take the Big Daddy Boots off the counter and the plasmid around the corner. Now go back to the Main Hall and head to Failsafe Armored Escort in the south. Head through the door on the right in to a decontamination chamber and proceed through. Kill the Spider Splicer that gets up and then head in to the security room on the left to hack and activate some flying gun turrets. Continue on the way and enter Candidate Conversion. Hack the turrets down the stairs and move in to the room towards the back. On the table you will find an audio diary telling you that the boots which you should already have were shipped to the Library. Head in to the main room and kill off the Splicers around the area. Go in to the central room and crawl through the port hole in the wall to reach a side room with an audio diary inside, you can also melt the ice at the door to enter the room. Jump over the railing and kill the Splicer laying in the water. Now go and grab a body suit off the hooks ahead. Use the keycode "1921" from the audio diary you heard earlier to unlock the door and gather a few items. Head east and enter the Guardian COnversion room and head to the back of the room to find a plasmid and take any of the helmets hanging around. As you try to leave the room a group of Splicers will get out of the water and attack you. Head upstairs with the stairscase just to your left. Go past the door on the right and grab the audio diary on top of the file cabinet. Head through the north hallway to reach the Gene Bank and look to the right of it for an audio diary on top of the machine. Continue around the hall and enter the next room. Look on the left side of the center wall to find the final audio diary on top of the machines. Head down the stairs and straight down the hallway through the doors. Take a right and re-enter the main hall through the decontamination room. Head to the right past the Library and go downstairs as Dr. Tenenbaum tells you to hit the Little Sisters hiding place on the right wall with your wrench. The Little Sister will come out of the hole and crawl through the door that Fontaine sealed behind himself opening it for you. Head through and walk in to the air lock to finish the level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.15 - Proving Grounds +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0 Little Sisters Follow the Little Sister to the door that she has to open and head through. As you enter the room a Big Daddy will be fighting below as the skeleton of a whale falls on top of it. Continue to follow the Little Sister through the next large door to move on. Go around the corner ahead of the Little Sister and kill off the Splicer standing around. Hack the health machine and start setting traps behind yourself. Once you reach the Test Subject #1 area the Little Sister will start to work on the corpse and Some Splicers will start to attack from both sides of the hallway. If you set up the traps good enough you won't have to really worry to much about the right side. Once she is done draining the Adam out of the corpse continue down the path and kill the Splicer coming towards you. Destroy the gun turret or hack it as it will attack the Little Sister and then she will start to drain the second corpse. Don't worry about the security camera or hack it so gun turrets will help you, it doesn't affect you since you are in the Big Daddy suit. Set up another trap on both sides of yourself as the Splicers rush the area. Once she is done wrap around the corner and destroy the turret as she unlocks the next door. Quickly run along the right wall and hack the gun turret that comes out so it doesn't hurt your Little Sister. Quickly run around to the other side to hack a turret over here as well. Now head back to the Little Sister and she will unlock the next door. As you head in to the water more Splicers will appear for you to quickly kill. Head around the bend and another Splicer with a flying gun turret will attack as well. You will soon reach a third corpse the Little Sister will start to harvest. Kill the Splicers that attack from behind and head on. Also don't forget to hack the gun turret straight across from the corpse to protect the Little Sister. As you head around the corner kill the lone Splicer and then wrap around the rest of the corner and hack the security camera for extra protection from Splicers that may come up from the rear later on. As you turn right a Big Daddy will smash through the wall and attack you, kill it quickly and move on. Quickly enter the hole the Big Daddy made and collect the items inside as the Little Sister opens the next door. Head through the two doors she opens and you will hear Fontaine talk about how he wants to splice until theres nothing left to splice with. Dr. Tenenbaum will tell you to go around the corner and take the splicing needle from the Little Sister at her hiding place. Buy what you need from the vending machines and then get on the elevator and push the button to finish the level. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2.16 - Fontaine +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0 Little Sisters Head forward as Fontaine is on the machine being injected with a lot of Adam. Go up to him and withdraw one of the four containers of Adam on him. He will then bust off the machine and start to attack. Dodge the fire attacks and the super fast lunges. You can help dodge the flames by heading behind some of the machinery in the back to peek out enough to fire off a few shots. Once Fontaine's life is depleted he will teleport back to the machine. Head back up to the machine and withdraw another portion of the Adam in him. This time when he brakes free he will have ice powers. Watch out as he can slam the ground sending a long ice trail towards you. He will still be able to lunge at you and this time an alarm will go off sending the annoying flying gun turrets. Shock and hack some of the gun turrets to help you and take him down again. Once again he will teleport over to the machine. Take another dosage of Adam from him and he will break free with Electricity as his powers this time. This time he will have Splicers invade the room to help him out. If you have the Anger plasmid use it to have the Splicers attack each other. Kill off Fontaine once again and then deliver the final blow with the needle to watch your ending movie. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.
