Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection teaser takes you to the Moon

The zombie apocalypse is coming to Xbox Live with Rezurrection, the all-zombie DLC pack that Treyarch’s calling the “season finale” to Call of Duty: Black Ops. The pack will feature four re-mastered maps from World at War: Swamp (Shi No Numa), Night (Nacht Der Untoten), Asylum (Verruckt), and Factory (Der Reise). But the most notable map in the upcoming pack is Moon.

Thanks to Rezurrection’s new Moon map, you will soon be able to fight hordes of undead on the Moon. And it’s about time. If I had a nickel for every time I wished I wasn’t shackled to ground due to the planet’s acceleration, I’d probably have at least five dollars. With its zero gravity zones, Treyarch is hoping to make precision matter as you float through the deadly madness that is Zombie Mode.

Above: You’ve already killed a lot of zombies. But have you killed zombies on the Moon?

Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection will be coming first to Xbox Live on August 23 and will also include a Zombies Moon theme. PlayStation 3 and PC releases for Rezurrection will follow at a later date.

"i hope they realize that this crap isnt worth 15.... im not paying 15 for one new map... paying 15 for some of the other map packs was too much to begin with" Read the other comments dumbass. It's 5 maps for $15, or free if you already own them. Hank:Why don't you haters just fuck off for one minute? I think that would be the better alternative. I will get this and I will enjoy my purchase.

"Keep the feedback coming for us, and we'll keep delivering." Naw, I'm okay, thanks.

    We're zombies on the Moon...

Honestly, Zombies is really the only worthwhile mode in Black Ops. Split-screening that shit is fun as hell.

It's nice that the map will be free to those who already have the other four. It's pretty rare for activision to just give something away.

Even if you hate what Call of Duty has become, you have to admit that Treyarch has done a damn fine job with the DLC. I'm probably in the minority but I had a blast with World at War right up until it hackers made it unplayable.

Its free for those who already have the four classic maps, so thank you Treyarch.

"The airless evironment. It significantly changes how the game sounds" Yeah, by completely getting rid of the sound.

Sounds cool, but I can never get into zombie mode, I prefer Horde and Firefight, nothing other than personal preference though...have to agree with what everyone's saying, this is a total rip off, if anything the maps from WaW should be FREE seeing as I already bought the game. I wouldn't go as far as Jack though, still think map packs are worthwhile if you play a game online enough, its also worth pointing out that some developers push themselves a lot with DLC, all the maps for Halo 3 where amazing and they added some really cool stuff through DLC like the first fully forgable map and the largest map of any halo ever...as well as giving us some maps for free, something pretty rare today

No if you have the hardened or prestige edition you get dlc for free.
  • jackthemenace - August 11, 2011 9:34 p.m.

Oh WTF!? Do people not realise that £7 for four maps is a rip-off? Not only that, but they're not even new maps! This is NOT me having a rage against CoD (Even though I hate it to death), but a rage against map packs (and the machine) in general. I will never understand what drives people to pay 560/800 MSP for such meagre and worthless additions.
  • SecretGingerWizard - August 11, 2011 9:32 p.m.

So the people who bought the mega edition or whatever that already had 4 of these maps are basically paying $15 dollars for 1 map?
  • Zepaw - August 11, 2011 9:31 p.m.

I am so bad at zombies mode I have stopped trying. They have done a good job of making interesting zombie maps in CodBlops but I fail them all spectacularly.
