Brink's Agent of Change DLC arriving August 3rd

Bethesda has assigned an August 3rd arrival date for the Brink DLC, Agents of Change. The pack will be available for free during the first two weeks of its run on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam, after which it will be sold for a undisclosed charge.

The weighty add-on includes two new multiplayer 'districts' including Founder's Tower, an “iconic spire housing the island's wealthy elite”; and the Labs Facility, a underwater map offering close quarters combat. Plan your attack strategy with a few of the newly released DLC screens below:

Above and below:  Founder's Tower...where the rich get richer and the poor get shootier

Above and below: Labs Facility

In addition to the new killing zones, Agents of Change will also raise the current level cap to 24, and introduce new abilities, outfits, weapon attachments, as well as a fresh batch of trophies and achievements.

Full details of the forthcoming Brink DLC can be found at Splash Damage's website. At the low, low price of nothing, it's hard to find fault with the any of the new content. That is, assuming you're playing Brink. You are, aren't you?

The part of the game I hated most was trading it in the very day after the price for trade-ins dropped, and lost out on about £10.

This game deserved a 5. The only reason it got the same score as Reach was because GR was advertising it for months.

Hated that i bought this game and played it for about an hour. So sad too, the videos that showed off the game before launch made the game look like it was going to be fun. Sad to the graphics are beautiful, game play is crap.

umm the 360 version is inferior to the PC version those are the PC screens on a fantastic computer

Yeah...the game looks as good as those screens. Not! I never felt more foolish than I did when I first loaded up Brink. They was have to release a 4GB Patch in order for me to play it again. What a joke. Free for a limited time they say? They should be paying us to download it.

Brink is still a thing? @ReCAPTCHA Let's put the words upside down, that doesn't hinder me at all/sarcasm

I'm sorry I paid the full sixty, but I might play this for a bit just to cap my main character again. I actually considered going for the plat, but then I realized how schewpid that would be. Or just difficult. That too.

^ @ yaro @ Lando, no, Brink does not qualify as a shitty game, I mean it score is the same as Halo Reach. It had it's obvious flaws but it's still pretty damn fun.

I personally enjoyed Brink, so I'm looking forward to this. @ how can any one trade in games, no matter how bad. I just can't see why getting $3 for a game is worth it.

A badly made game with such great ideas and things going for it... I think I can pull myself back into this for the DLC.
  • Killershadow117 - July 30, 2011 1:25 a.m.

Didn't they say this was going to be free as a thank you to the fans who stuck it out. I guess that when out the window when they saw how bad the game sold.
  • Yaro - July 30, 2011 12:43 a.m.

I was utterly disappointed by the completely busted and broken or maybe even non-existent online structure...When the patch and DLC didnt come in JUNE (!!!) I decided I won't wait around for patch that will NOT fix all my problems with it so I traded it in....I see I have done well.
  • Lando81 - July 30, 2011 12:27 a.m.

    What a shitty shitty game.
  • Moondoggie1157 - July 29, 2011 10:50 p.m.

I should get back into Brink, I do enjoy it...
