Blizzard All-Stars is now Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard All-Stars, the DotA game starring characters from across Blizzard's biggest franchises, has been reborn as Heroes of the Storm. The studio decided to shed a little light on the roundabout naming process in the short cartoon below.

We've heard next to nothing about the game since it was revealed in 2011, other than Blizzard's legal battle with Valve over the use of the term "DOTA." An overview of the game is scheduled for BlizzCon's first day, so we'll know more about its mechanics and characters soon.

Do you think Heroes of the Storm's cast of Blizzard favorites, and whatever other tricks the studio has up its sleeves, will be enough to make a dent in the fierce MOBA market?

True that, but usually people just say Starcraft or SCII or whatever.
