The current XBLA Deals of the Week allow Batman fans to pick up DLC and avatar gear for
discount prices, with Arkham City add-on content reduced by almost
50% for Gold subscribers. Besides picking up the Robin and Nightwing
Bundle Packs for 360 MSP (down from the usual 560 points), avatar
items such as the Bat-Signal, Batarang and Batmobile are down to 160,
220 and 220 MSP respectively. Because what's the point in your avatar
having a secret superhero identity if everyone doesn't know about it?
We recently heard from
Arkham City developers Rocksteady when the studio's co-founder,
Sefton Hill, told DICE attendees on how it's managed to sidestep the usual
pitfalls to make a Batman videogame that's not awful, then to follow
it up with another one in the same vein. If you know all about this
from having played both games to completion, you could always check
out Hill's explanation for the sequel's big-moment ending while
you're waiting for the next movie – let alone any word of
Rocksteady's next take on the character.
