    Just throwing this in there, in city of heroes\villains the currency is influence for heroes and infamy for villains. How do you award notoriety in numbers? something that I've never understood.

    Collecting items in games... never gets old is what our capitalistic society thrives on haha. We had a lecture on that when I took interactive environments. I'd add on light seeds from the new PoP and orbs from Crackdown, not necessarily currency but an important gameplay influenced collectors item.

    Perhaps we could great a global market for fake game economies and see how The Capital Wasteland's bottlecaps fairs against the Pokedollar. Although if everyone switches back to the gold standard then Sonic and Mario will be the two richest game characters ever. Not that they already aren't...
