One of the big winners at this year’s Comic-Con, Mad Max: Fury Road continues to ride the hype wave with the release of a pair of new images, both of which feature Tom Hardy at his most badass.
The first image shows a masked Hardy brandishing a sawn-off shotgun, with a limp Nicholas Hoult thrown over his shoulder like a traveller’s rucksack.
The second features Hardy with another firearm, this time a simple pistol, as he prepares to drop an unseen bad guy. One of many to face a similar fate, we’d wager…
The reaction to the unveiling of the recent trailer has been overwhelmingly positive, and after a troubled production that seemed to last an age, it's good to see some genuine momentum building behind this one.
Directed by George Miller and co-starring Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Mad Max: Fury Road will open in the UK on 15 May 2015.
